You gotta love the warriors on the Colony. They’ve been through H#ll and came out the other side still fighting. Still willing to stand between the innocents and the evil that lurks in the dark. It was so good to see this pair of Prillons getting a mate. Even if they didn’t think it would ever happen!

Instant Pot® Lasagna

You might feel like making lasagna in a pressure cooker is crazy. Don’t you need an oven for those crunchy edges? To make sure the meat is cooked through? How can anyone make lasagna without baking it? Well, trust us – this one is well worth making. If you have a 6- or 7-inch springform pan and you kept the trivet that came with your Instant Pot®, you can make a delicious layered lasagna pie in 30 minutes. And if you want to make it ahead, you can prep the lasagna, put it in the freezer, then put it right into the Instant Pot® for an easy dinner.

He’s Back with a 2 day project!

Ted came back on Wednesday to start working on my kitchen cabinets. He was going to start earlier in the month, but given that his wife, Carol, is battling leukemia, we wanted to wait a bit. Her new medicine is working well and she feels wonderful. So the work begain!

It started by taking out old cabinet and dropping the others down. From there, he build the head space next. And let me tell you, trying to get that up in place with an 80+, 70+ and 60+ in a very small space was not easy! (Yeah, I’m the baby of the bunch!!!)

So here’s the photos from the first day.

That mess on the table is NOT how I like my dining room table to look! Luckily by the end of day 2, this is how things looked.

Next up is to put the molding up, get things painted and add the last two “beams” up!
