That’s right—I’m a banshee. And I’m locked up in Nightmare Penitentiary with no hope of escape. I don’t expect to be rescued by handsome fae princes, either, since the last ones I had a crush on put me here.
Now, the princes are here to rattle my cage, and they’re just as handsome and judgmental as I remember. I’d tell them exactly what I think about them, but in addition to stealing my freedom, they’ve taken my voice.

Wow! To be honest, there were times when I wasn’t sure I would finish this book. I couldn’t make heads nor tails of the mythology behind it. In the end, I made it through and realized it was better than I thought.
The last thing retired arena champion Gaius Osborn wants is a bossy spitfire of a chef to tell him how to do his job, but Nessa Baxter’s getting under his skin, and her talents in the kitchen are working their way straight to his heart.
After Pomona lands a job as a personal chef to a pair of dragon shifters, she learns they’re two of the most famous celebrity athletes on the shifter home world. Once they set eyes on Pomona, both men crave only one thing. Will they be able to convince her that they want to share more than just her cooking?
After losing her mate a year ago, Simina’s only wish is to fulfill his deathbed promise: have the baby they always wanted. If anyone can help her find the right match, the Paranormal Dating Agency can. Simina has only one rule for the matchmaker: no League champions. But what if not just one, but three League champions capture her heart?
Astra Garrick, the Midnight Star, is the Nova Aurora Arena League’s reigning solo champion. As the late Ebon Claw’s younger sister, she has quite the reputation to uphold—especially when a title-hungry opponent attacks her using the same drug that killed her brother.
Holly Jennings wasn’t planning on another trip to Scotland. And she certainly wasn’t planning on a trip down memory lane with the hot Highlander who broke her heart. But she’s never been much of a planner — more like a roll-with-the punches country gal. A good thing too, because “one last request” may not be the only thing a beloved mentor left her in his will. Before Holly knows it, she’s heading on a mysterious mission to a remote island — and straight into danger.
Dragon shifter Lachlan McKenney likes his life logical and organized — not turned upside down by the lithe, impulsive beauty he’s been trying to forget for years. Especially now that he’s busy guarding a ruthless archenemy who’s plotting to escape an island prison.
But Holly awakens every emotion Lachlan has been trained to resist: passion, hope, and forbidden desire. Apparently, there’s no outrunning fate, just as there’s no shirking duty. Against the odds, Lachlan must keep Holly safe on her mission to carry out a venerable old dragon’s last wishes. At the same time, he must resist temptation, because letting his focus slip could cost Holly her life — and unleash a deadly foe.

Fantastic! This couple is decidedly different from the other Fire Maiden couples. To start with, she’s a dragon shifter and has been shifting since childhood. None of the others had been. Then, we find out that this is actually a second chance for this couple. They had met a decade ago, just before he left for the French Foreign Legion. Lachlan and Holly are a wonderful pair.
As always, the descriptions of the area and the surrounds are superb. You can truly get a great sense of the area where the action is taking place.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to read this one before it was published. I truly enjoyed it.
My name is Cailleach Bheur and I’m here to screw with your holidays.
And you can blow that right out the toe of your stinkin’ stocking for all I care!
Second Fiddle – that should’ve been my name. Think I’m being a Drama Queen? Adding too much spice to my Gingerbread? Well, strap yourselves in, my sleigh-ridin’ slouches as I drop some truth on ya’.
Try being the sister of the one and only Jessica Kringle-Claus, aka Mrs. Claus. Add to that the fact that I’m the Goddess of Winter and the only deity who spends six months in hibernation and put the damn cherry on the figgy pudding with when I tell you that the only reason anyone even knows my damn name is because I can make it snow.
Woohoo, blah, bah-humbug! Now try your darnedest to convince me that you wouldn’t be slammin’ on the tiara, grabbin’ the scepter, and listin’ your complaints like they were bad kids on Santa’s Naughty List.
Yeah, that’s what I thought.
Well, this year I’m changing the rules.
There’ll be no Snow, no North Wind for Santa’s stupid sleigh, and no, I mean definitely-no-way-no-how-no nip in the air for the tip of your disgusting little noses.
I’m taking a stand. The buck stops here – and you better believe I mean every single one of those frikkin’ prancin’ Reindeer.
No more Second Fiddle for me.
Adorable! How in the world did I miss reading this book earlier? It is so funny and wonderful. The couple were funny enough to keep me laughing the whole time I was reading. Looking forward to reading more!
This omnibus is intended for adults that have no problems with dirty sex, humor and action. If that’s you, enjoy!
Warning: If you don’t like sex of any kind, this is probably not the book for you. There’s graphic language (yes, they tell their women how they like it), sassy humor (come on, it’s Milly Taiden‘s books) and women that won’t allow a man to browbeat them into doing what they say (unless they’re naked). This omnibus is intended for adults that have no problems with dirty sex, humor and action. If that’s you, enjoy!

This general has more to fight for than he ever imagined…
As one of the few warriors to ever defeat the Fearless, Brion General Braen is a living legend. Yet when his greatest victory turns to his gravest defeat, the undefeated warrior has to prove himself to the universe… and himself. If matters weren’t complicated enough, his fated, his gesha, appears to him right in the middle of it all. Now, losing is not an option.
Naima is a scientist through and through. She’s seen how love can ruin a life and she wants no part of it. So when she gets pregnant by a man who only deals in absolutes while an ancient unkillable evil wishes to conquer the galaxy, she finds herself between a… well, a monster and a hard general.
With everyone’s lives in her hands, but most of all her own, her child’s and the man’s who she can’t make up her mind about, what does the scientist trust? Her heart or her mind?
This couple is definitely one for the books! Braden was so sure of himself, only to discover that another Fearless exists. Naima was on a search for something she wasn’t entirely sure of. Then Fate threw them together.
Boo, he murmured, sending the thought right into her mind.
She scowled. Boo?
Jessica knew she had made a major mistake. This wasn’t a little bit of snow ❄️, this was a blizzard. And if she didn’t find some kind of shelter, she’d freeze. Finding a bear den only seemed fortunate. Given the stories she’d been told about bear Shifters, she really didn’t want to meet one.
Simon always kept extra supplies in his den in case he was caught away from his home. This time he’d been at the den for a short while already. But something had drawn him away. Coming back, he was surprised to find a she-wolf in his den.
What truly surprised them both was when they both started hearing each other’s thoughts. This was something that only happened with mated pairs. Nevertheless, something was drawing them to each other. But what of their conservative families?

Wonderful introduction to the next series, Blue Moon Saloon. The descriptions are as intricate as always. Having grown up in PA, I can definitely see the blizzard happening!
The Dragon Protection Agency- Shiny badges, rock-hard scales, and a whole lotta fire they know how to use.
Solving murders and bringing bad guys to justice was all Nat ever wanted to do. She couldn’t imagine being anything but a Homicide Detective. It was who she was. What she could use her Gift for. Her absolute obsession.
Then he walked into the Precinct…
Tall, handsome as the Devil and hotter than homemade sin, Special Agent Rafe O’Rhordan was everything she never wanted and the one thing she couldn’t live without – a man strong enough to corral her and secure enough in himself to resist the temptation.
Battle after battle, war after war, saving the injured, fighting for justice, and freeing the imprisoned had become his life. Being a founding member of the Dragon Protection Agency – DPA for short – had kept him busy, fulfilled, and always on the move for the last few decades. He and his Brethren were a well-tuned machine no bad guy could escape.
Then he met her and everything changed…
Headstrong, smarter than a whip, and more gorgeous than any woman he’d ever set eyes on, Detective Donatella Hale was the light of his soul and a pain in his backside – a woman strong enough to stand up to him and soft enough to love for eternity.
But love and forever will have to wait. They have a killer to catch…
Six murders in eighteen months. No clues except the bodies he leaves behind, the murderer all the papers called the Yellow Ribbon Ripper is due to strike again, but who will be the next victim? Where will he leave the body?
The clock is ticking.
The killer is on the hunt.
Can Nat see where he is?
Can Rafe blaze the trail in time?
Fate Will Not Be Denied…but then again, She’s never been chased by a serial killer.

Wow! This is definitely different from all the rest. Talk about hidden bloodlines and some serious power. Rafe and his friends are a wonderful change of pace. BTW, are we ever going to get Max’s story?
You know, I never imagined having one boyfriend, much less four. Jake, Archie, Coop, and Ian are still my best friends. They’re also even more entrenched in my life than I ever imagined. They’ve been my rocks, but I’m not the only one with issues.
We’re fighting our way to a new normal. I’m in therapy. Ian and I are dating. Archie introduced me to his grandfather. Both Coop and Jake’s moms refer to me as their son’s girlfriend. I don’t know how much our parents know about our relationship, but I also don’t care.
The holidays are here, and we’re halfway through the year. Everyone wants a piece of us. We’ve survived so much. We’ve been trying to figure out who we can be amidst all the drama and sabotage surrounding us. Now we have to figure out who we can be, period.
That starts with us.
It starts now.

It was a wonderful change of pace to not have the group battling outsiders for a change. A holiday break away from their families and the problems that normally would result from that. They got into better sync with each other and that was really nice to see. Great Job!
Gerri Wilder does it again! Of course, she’s going to need a new assistant, again!
Sky Adler isn’t looking for a man. She’s happy being Gerri Wilder’s newest assistant and excited she’s on a mission to scope out a new client. She did not expect the town residents to treat her like she committed a crime and for the client to be hot enough to melt the ozone. She definitely needs a cold shower, but she’s a professional, she can handle it. Maybe. Hopefully.
Damien Grimes isn’t looking for a mate and has worked damn hard for the evil image he puts out. But when he meets Sky, that all changes. The very image of a playboy jerk is now what’s keeping his mate from wanting to give him a chance. He needs a small miracle, urgently, if he ever wants to get her out of her clothes and into his bed. And he really really wants that.
It’s hard for Sky to not judge Damien based on her research, but she’s trying. Things are bumpy, but headed in the right direction when trouble comes calling and Sky needs saving. She has to allow Damien to be her hero and stop denying the love she knows she feels for him, or risk going home with her heart broken.

Yes! Another fabulous couple from Ms. Taiden. Gerri is at the top of her game when she matched these two people. Truly enjoyable! While I tend to prefer book series, these standalone books are so interesting. It seems like Gerri no sooner gets a new assistant then she finds a mate for that lady. And yes, so far, all of Gerri’s assistants have been curvy ladies.
