5.0 out of 5 stars Dragons...I love Dragons - Fantastic Series

I love Dragon Shifter books, they are amongst my favourite genres to read and there are never enough great books to read in this genre. This series was definitely a perfect find for me. The writing was very good and the story pulled you in from book one and continued in book two. I am so looking forward to the third book in this series.
The first Book followed the leader of the Dragon Guard Rayne and his Mate Kyndall's story and I thought that was a great book... but book two, "Her Dragon to Slay" was just that much better! "Her Dragon's Fire" was Aiden and Grace's Story and you could sense the Love between them and the connection they had.
Aiden was sexy hot and an oh so romantic alpha male, Grace was a very independent strong woman as well, she had a mind of her own and challenged Aiden every chance she could. There was so much more to these characters and the obstacles they faced and had to overcome made you feel just that much more for them, especially Aiden. There were definitely some very steamy scenes, which I love, very detailed and scorching hot. One can only wish they had a Man so devoted to a Woman"s every need like the men (Dragons) in these books!
The writing was fantastic and brought the characters to life and I had a hard time putting this book down (I got nothing done over the weekend I read both books in 2 days). The book was edited really well and the story flowed from one page to the next effortlessly. I can only hope that the rest books in this series get better. I loved that there is a little about all of the characters in the books and you get a glimpse at previous characters and what they are doing. I can't wait for Lance and Samantha's story, April can't come soon enough.
I would definitely recommend this series to those who like the Paranormal genre. It was an outstanding read and you won't be disappointed.
4.0 out of 5 stars Her Dragon's Fire

This book was much better than Book One because the plot was a lot more interesting, and I enjoyed the action. However, the writing is still a bit repetitive, too detailed in parts, and there are too many things that were very similar to the first book.
I love Aiden as much in this book as I did in the story about Rayne and Kyndel. He has strength, passion, and is not afraid to show or feel emotions.
Grace, on the other hand, started out being a heroine I liked, but she soon became demanding, insensible, and even put their lives at risk with her foolishness...all because she had to see everything "with her own eyes!" Really?!
I liked the other characters, the brethren--Lance, Royce, Aaron, and Devon. I definitely want to read their stories. I'm also curious about what eventually happens to Aaron's and Aiden's traitorous brother, Andrew

Remember Grace from book one? You know, Kyndel's best friend who had borrowed her car and left Kyndel to walk home the night she met Rayne? Yep, that's her. Big city girl from affluent parents, dad an ambassador and mom a humanitarian, is now an attorney for the State Prosecutor. Unfortunately, she had her insecurities and one of those had been about the opposite sex and love. Her ex in college had cheated on her and Grace overheard him tell the other girl he was only with Grace to meet her father and advance his political career and then made disparaging remarks about her weight. Grace decided then and there, in her senior year, love was for suckers. She wouldn't go that route again. Aiden was a dragon of the Elite Dragon Guard. His twin brother Aaron was two minutes older than him and their baby brother Andrew was ten years younger. Not only was Andrew the baby of the family, but he had two different colored eyes and was considered to be the mark of a Special One. Aiden was the first person Andrew had opened his eyes to and made a connection with, so there was a special bond between them. Unfortunately that bond had been broken the night Aiden thought Andrew had been killed. Now, six months later, he's still looking for Andrew, who turned out to be alive and using black magic. He had turned traitor and Aiden was hunting him before more people were hurt. Julia Mills has an innate ability to tap into the realm of dragons and bring us a world consisting of an elite group of dragon guards who are duty bound to protect humans and the way fate plays a hand in bring them their mates. This is Aiden and Grace's story and what a story it is. With an underlying plot flowing through the book, strong characters who bring loyalty and chaos to each other's lives and the devotion and love of a dragon, you won't be disappointed
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally claiming his mate

Aiden has known that Grace is his mate, the one the Universe made for him, for at least six years but due to guilt has not claimed her. Grace is fascinated by the smell of the brother of her friend Kyndel's husband as he is staying at her friends house while in town. Tired from work she decides to go to her friends home as it is closer to work and sees Aiden there. Thus begins this epic continuation of the next Dragon Guard shifter finally claiming his mate. I would highly recommend this book and am sure that readers will include the intrigue and twists as well as love interweaved into this story
