In this new series that the author has started, we are with the werewolves from the Wayward Mates series. This is set in the future where a plague has gone through the world and has reverted to medieval times.
Rowan is the alpha of Calon Onest. As a female, her pack is happy with her, but the rest of the wolf packs are not. After she kills the envoys from the council, they send Alaric, the warlord. Alaric is more than happy to go as he is looking for a place to settle down with his troops. On the way, he discovers that Riwan is his fated mate and that changes his plans somewhat. Of course, he tames Rowan, but the fun is the way it happens.
I highly recommend this book. I loved it and am looking forward to at least two more books in the series with Arielle and Sloan

I read an advanced copy of this book and as usual my opinion is reflected in the fact that I bought a copy as soon as it went "live". Meet a new, post-apolalyptic family of the Mates. We may have traveled to the future, to a new world but Calon Onest and Ravenscar along with their wolf shifters are going strong. Rowan is a alpha in her own right and rules the pack at Calon Onest - until she is "invaded" in a most unusual way by Alaric of Ravenscar. As usual Delta has created a wonderful, super kick-ass heroine, a strong, dominant male and mixed it with a great story, steamy encounters and romance. I loved it and can't wait for the next story

Enjoyed shifters romance with spice added. Love how Rowan stood.up for her pack . Alaric how he tames Rowan a alpha in her own right. They had the chemistry, also she would hear his voice before they met . Didn't realize it love the dreams she had.
This amazing story took place in the apocalyptic future. Fell in love with the calon onest pack all over again . Y'all need to get this amazing book. Shifters romance at it's best
