Oh my...such a sweet and funny story about an angel and a dragon caught in a storm! We meet Tomas and Holly. Well we know of Tomas in book 10 briefly. So, we dont know much about him. He's a dragon from 2 pure dragons which sorta makes him royalty hes a gold/red dragon. Instead of ruling he just wants to be a Dragon Guard and protect his people and innocents. Hes a great guy and sweet and funny. As a favor to Rayne he drops off a package to Maddox, but after doing that he's now stuck in a blizzard and his wings froze. So, he sought shelter in a cave. Then we meet Holly and very beautiful Angel on her last flight/mission before she is to find her mate. Well...shes always been told she'd mate with a fellow Christmas Angel. So, she is really confused and freaked out about this pull to Tomas. Spending time together and obviously fate can't be denied...they quickly bond mentally...but not mate quite yet. There is someone who is in need of help. They have both forces pulling them light and dark and Holly and Tomas work together to bring it/her into the light. Its actually really heartwarming. I loved the story and meeting Holly and Tomas. Hopefully we get to see more of them later. This was a novella length about 120 pages or so. Went sooo fast! I think whats really funny is these younger dragons have a hard time blocking their thoughts from others haha. Talk about embarrassing! 🙂

This is my first dragon shifter book, and now I discover it's the eleventh one of a group of twelve - so far! Talk about stepping into a whole new world! But I loved it, right from the start. Tomas is a very powerful and very old dragon, and one reason for his power is that he was born of two dragons, a red and a gold. He longs for his mate, but nearly despairs of ever finding her. But now he has found her, and she's not the dragon he was expecting - she's an angel! And together they are more powerful than either one was alone, a truly magical mixture, capable of doing great good. This book starts with a high tension scene and pulls you in immediately. The author has created a heroine who behaves consistently given her background and the plot complications that develop because of her choices grow out of her character. I enjoyed this book even though the sex the heroine had with one of the two men was mildly dom/sub and that's not my thing. The author skirts the problem of not having a safe word because the participants are emotionally linked and he knows that she's only unsure and doesn't actually mean "No." That didn't work for me. However the sex with the other man felt mutually passionate and joyful.

The relationships were more developed than just sex, making the emotional dilemmas believable.This is the first in a series and Sinclair does a good job of creating an entire community to set future stories in. I'll be looking for Book 2.

This book is so good even after reading it multiple times. It is the start of a great series with lots of world building, and I still pick up new details on re-reads. It's a paranormal story set in the mountains and while being paranormal \supernatural it's a subtler feeling take on it. It feels rooted in history and legend, maybe with things lost over time but not gone. It's paranormal with shifters and far and demons and such but it's not eccentric, or overly dramatic if that makes sense. This story does have its own HEA but there is a kind of large over-arching story / problem that continues into future books. And the romance is hot. It's to me this kind of slow burn meets fast burn. It's also a menage/why choose type love where the men are solely romantically focused on the woman. That being said doesn't mean there's not some hot, interesting, and group activities that take place. All the characters in this story are well developed and I loved them all but that didn't mean There wasn't also moments I wanted to shake them. If you like paranormal even a little or maybe want to get your feet wet, or you like some suspense and actions of your just looking for a hot romance you've found it. Would definitely recommend.

I am an avid Cherise Sinclair fan.. I love her books.. but I am not a real fan of paranormal/shifter.. until NOW.. waiting for the next Sinclair book to come out, and having an amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket.. I figured "oh why not" and I am so glad I did.. holy smokes.. Cherise drew me in from the very beginning and kept me there... the book is so well written..the characters - all of them - make you want to be there with them.. Oh this was one different! In a GOOD way. Its shorter than some but didnt pack any less punch for me at least. This is about Rayne's Uncle Dragos who was thought dead over a 100 years ago. He was labeled The Assassin because he was so good at being a Guardsman and really tough. Him and his brethren were taken and shoved into black magic infused coffins. Now, we dont know the whereabouts of his brethren or if they survived or not. He's been awake this entire time enduring sooo much pain. He calls out for help only to find his mate! How cool is that? Alicia...she thought him crazy or herself at first. Then realized he's real and is in dire need of help. He's only been able to reach her only. She's desperate to find him and calls upon the clan and others to help get him out. It was touch and go for awhile but he BARELY escaped. Alicia is awesome and is a lot like Kyra. Kyra is a bit more fiery and sassy but not by much. I liked her a lot. I so enjoyed them all kickin butt and the story of these 2 mates! Enjoyed the book a lot.

This is book 10 in the Dragon Guard Series and I have to say I wanted this book so much just on the cover alone. Each guard who has found their mate seems to have a deep battle with those setout to hurt them but Drago and Alicia's story ripped at my emotions.
Drago has been kept a prisoner for almost 100 years. He is a MacLendon a Dragon an Assassin he was the Commander. His mate Alicia hears him but she has no idea who he is or what he wants but she can hear him. Now to find him? Alicia is skeptical when Drago lets her know who has him. Drago is in luck because Alicia does know the Dragon Guard but she is still weary because Rayne said he had no family living.
Well she goes on asking him one million questions but she needs to know in her heart of hearts this man is telling the truth. Drago is family but whose? You will have to just read the story yourself as I have given you enough already.

But first Seth, the Firelord must tame his true heart and keep her from trying to kill him! Caitlyn has trained for the day when she can kill Seth, and eventually take over the realm according to legend. She’s good with a bow and arrow but is she good enough?
And then there is the reason all the Elemental Dragons have been brought out of their long sleep: the war is coming and a vampyr of old is trying to take over. Can they stop him and his league in time?
Keep in mind that this is a discipline story with lots of spanking and lots of “making up” afterward. 😳 Really steamy stuff. This was a real page-turner and I loved it. My only problem with it was that there were a few places where the shift from scene to scene was not clear whereas in others the delineation by asterisks was clear. Fix those and it is a five-star book. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and if you like spanking discipline and its aftermath 😜you will want to read this book.

I have not been overly fond of this series, and my reviews have been on the negative side due to repetitious stories and characters (male) who are interchangeable. I was surprised that I enjoyed Seth and Caitlyn's story so much. I figured Seth would be another arrogant, domineering dragon who didn't show growth or change, but he was the best of the bunch! Yes, he was still arrogant and changed Caitlyn without her consent. And punished overly harshly at times. But he was at least willing to accept Caitlyn for who she was, and allowed her to use her strengths and talents to help him. He was also more laid back and willing to see humor when his mate was "sassy" than the other dragons. Kellan is still the worst of the bunch - his mate is dragon-born and he STILL tries to keep her away from any type of interaction that could be deemed dangerous!

I loved when the female dragons met and got together to put a halt to their husband's school-yard behavior! Also loved that Caitlyn got a few licks in on Seth at the beginning. Yes, she fell to his lust WAY too fast, but at least she made him work for her! I so enjoyed that she was able to allude him for a few days!

The battle scenes were a bit anti-climatic. Again, I thought it was stupid to make the women stay back at Gideon's stronghold instead of helping. They're dragons for Pete's sake! They would be so much more valuable in a battle than mere humans! And could have, like Caitlyn, stayed back but still had a part. Enjoyed seeing the wolves show up and form a new alliance, but wish Emma could also have played a bigger role. But this was by far the best in the series.

Once again, Ms. Delta James has penned a page-turning, action-packed, romantic suspense filled shifter tale. Whether you have read her Wayward Mates series or not, the story will read well as a stand-alone. If you did read Wayward Mates, the story takes place many years into the future; a plague has ravished the earth, things are returned to the old ways, before technology.

NOTE: This is a post-apocalyptic dark shifter romance. It contains explicit sex scenes and may seem like non-con or dubious consent—but it is the way of life among these shifters---especially when they are fated mates. It is a way of life, with a strong, dominant alpha male and an equally strong submissive female who eventually capitulates and finds the pleasure in his control and mastery over her body. Yes, it even comes with the coveted HEA ended.

The story is the fourth of the elemental dragon shifters and will be Seth, the Fire Dragon. He is also the one that was known to enjoy women frequently. When he returns to Stone Fire, he will have two women at his ready to slake his long-overdue lust. But after the first one, he will be attacked. His assassin will escape, and he must go after them, but what he finds is a shock; it isn’t a man but a woman.

“I am Seth, Lord of Fire, and who might you be? More important, why are you trying to kill me?”
“I am death,” she hissed.
“Curious name for a beautiful girl. I will teach you to threaten your dragonlord.”

The story will have a powerful chemistry between Seth and Caitlyn, and while she tried to kill him, he has great admiration for her. When she escapes, he is lost without her, but he will find her and bring her back home.

“Stay safe, my true heart, but know I am coming, and I will make you pay dearly for your latest misadventure. “

The story also brings a danger that will have the four dragons and the alpha wolves together to fight evil. It will be good versus evil, and this is the battle that decides the future. It was fun seeing all the alpha wolves, their mates, the dragons, and their mates all working together.

While Caitlyn may have wanted to kill Seth initially, she has great respect for him and he for her. He teaches her how to fly, being positive, and even agreeing to allow her to be with him in battle. Unlike the other dragons, he has waited to breed her because of the immortality issue.

“There is nothing more important to me than you. You are my lover and my mate—my beloved and my comrade. Yes, my love. We will see it through to the end—together.”

As with the other stories in this series, it contains discipline and explicit sex scenes—but there are some unique characteristics to a dragon---read it and find out! I don’t know if this will be the final story in this series, but this is the battle that everything has been leading up to, and they claim their victory.

I have to admit by far that this is my favorite Dragon series I have ever read. I find myself waiting for the next book in each series and end up going back and rereading all the previous books to make sure I did not miss anything that will be important in the new book.

While this book can be read as a standalone I highly suggest you start from the beginning because all of the characters and themes continue through each progressive book. Not to mention that you will enjoy the series even more when you know what has been going on from the beginning.

This is the story of Liam and Hannah. A former witch hiding with the most evil clan there can be. Only through the strength of the mating bond, Hannah's family, and the Blue Dragon Thunder Clan can they save Hannah and Liam's very souls. I am amazed at the colors of the dragons that still surface. This is a great book and a nice continuation in the series which gives you more more information about the upcoming doom they all must fight together.

I am happy to see the younger members of the Golden Fire Clan slowly begin to find their mates but I still and waiting on pins and needles for the rest of the Blue Thunder Dragon Clan to begin finding their mates. And as normal regal Max is there to lend a hand and bring hope that maybe we will get to see his story in the future. But slowly new members are being added to the ever-growing list of who is next for their book.... One thing for sure is that this series can go on for a very very long time

As soon as he tells Jace and Melanie the rest of the dragon guard know too. Apparently he and Jace are not good at keeping their mind speak just between the two of them. So, the whole Kira, Royce, Rory and the gang gather up to try and help Hannah. Hannah wakes up on a cliff with remnants of spell she doesn't remember casting, she knows she has lost time again and she needs to tell someone. She decides to tell her mother, who tells her they will figure it out and to go tell her mate. Liam is snatched up by Cleland, the grand draoi of the Dorcha-also known as Melanie's grandfather. Cleland wants to put transfer the demon inside of Hannah into Liam, but the calvary arrives before the switch occurs. An exorcism is done to rid Hannah of the demon, then she and Liam have their mating ceremony. Great book, part of a great series- but this was too easy. Their were more twists in the other story and this was very straight to the point. Are they ever gonna find Kira's mom, the suspense is getting to me, their so close to her and keep walking on by, can't take it

Julia Mills rocks. I loved this adventure with Liam and Hannah. They met after Hannah's family was rescued from their coven,which was run by Cleland,not so nice dark magic wizard... evil man. Not to mention that Hannah and her family are powerful white witches that had to hide this fact, or so they thought.
Liam suspect that everything is not okay with Hannah. And that Cleland had planted something dark inside of her.
As he explains to Melanie and Jace that 1. Hannah's his mate and 2. His suspicions. You know there are very upset feelings
Luckily they have Royce and Kyra on their side, listening to their thoughts and coming to their rescue.
Plans were made and then all then just went wrong.
But when love and all this good stands up against evil, be sure that there will be a rescue. In our case it involves hot dragon shifters and a few white witches fighting the evil Wizard.
But we also learn a few surprise... and not all good. And now Julia makes me Wat the next book right now... Please.

Why Accessories?

While there are plenty of recipes that you can make in your Instant Pot without using any thing more than the pot and a trivet. You don’t need more than that for soups or stews. However, there are so many more recipes that just need an accessory or two to expand your use of it. I’m going to list a few of them with reasons why you might need it.

Egg Bite Molds

If you’re a fan of Starbucks, you have undoubtedly noticed their little egg bites. Now I don’t go to Starbucks, and couldn’t begin to tell you what is in them. Using a silicon egg bite mold will let you make egg bites of your own! Now besides your basic egg bites, I’ve seen cheesecake bites, meatballs, pancake bites, to name just a few. My favorite is muffin bites. If you buy the Martha White brand of muffin mix, it will make 7 bites, which is how many fits on a mold. I’ve been collecting recipe pins on my Pinterest Board, From My Kitchen and Instant Pot Recipes.

6 Inch Springform Pan

I didn’t quite believe it when I saw recipes for cheesecake that could be made in this smaller pan. I just didn’t believe you could cook a cheesecake in an Instant Pot. Then I did a little checking. It seems that custard recipes such as cheesecake, need a water to enable them to cook more evenly and slowly. The traditional method is to use boiling water in a roasting pan. Doing it this way, you would need to wrap tinfoil around the bottom of the springform pan to keep the water from leaking in. Now contrast that with placing your smaller springform pan on a trivet inside the Instant Pot. You get all the benefits of the water bath while still keeping the pan above the water! For a empty nest couple like ours, 6 inch pans are perfect.

6 cup Bundt Pan

This is another potential work horse in your kitchen. There are fabulous recipes out there for pound cakes that are sized for a 6 cup pan. In our current economic climate, wouldn’t it be better to make smaller cakes that will serve your family for one or two meals instead of three or four? I’ve even come across a recipe for “Monkey Bread” that is made in a 6 cup Bundt Pan in an Instant Pot! What a great treat!

6 cup Round Bowls, Cake Pans

These are great for making all kinds of things, casseroles, cakes. Just use your imagination. You may have to reduce the number of servings you are making, but wow, it is fabulous.

Steamer baskets

These should be another given accessory. There are any number of foods that are steamed. Steamer baskets come in a number of sizes. I even have one with a divider so that you can steam 3 different foods at the same time.

Hard Boiled Egg Rack

Easter is coming, folks. For those of you with small children and grandchildren, that means Easter Eggs. Now no one seems to argue that you need to boil the eggs for around 9 – 13 minutes. The problem comes in how long it takes that water to boil in the first place! The more eggs you need to make, the more water since you need to have water covering the eggs by 1 inch. BUT if you are doing them in a Instant Pot, you only need 1 cup of water no matter how many eggs you are making. Set the timer to 5 minutes. Once the timer goes off, let the IP release naturally for 5 minutes before doing a quick release. Scoop the eggs out and place in ice bath for 5 minutes. No matter how many eggs you are making, they are all cooked completely! So much easier!

I REALLY like this series!!! It is very well written, and it keeps my attention for the most part. The reason for the 4 stars is because I find myself (I'm still reading the series I'm on book 9 now) Skipping some parts. For example the intimates scenes seem to be really drawn out, and while I love a good love scene these just feel too drawn out and the same each time. Then there is telling of how the mating ritual goes or other small things like that where I feel like it's the same as the last book just with different colors. I'm not saying that's bad, especially when the author is producing these are stand alone's as you would need all of this then, I'm just am hoping that these facets of the books can be told in a different, but still interesting way. For the most part this series definitely holds my attention and makes me want to find out what happens next in the book as well as what happens to the other characters that have captured my attention (some more than others, but still want to know).

Melanie, on the other hand, is a witch trying to keep hidden in the human world at the hospital from her grandfather who has turned evil from his quest for power. Even though this book is shorter than some of her previous ones, there is no less adventure or romance in it's delivery. I'm so upset!! They were this close to where and who have Kyra's mom,ugh. They don't seem to be very concerned-well I am. They abducted her what 2,3 books ago? I want somebody to figure it out already!!! I know everybody wants to find their mate, but come on now.
This book is about Jace and his mate, Melanie. He meets her at while on guard duty at the hospital where Sam and Charlie work, and like all the other guardsmen he knew she was his fated mate. He took his sweet time in approaching her and trying to get to know her. But they develop a routine of talking and eating together and just getting to know each other.
Next thing, he overhears a strange phone call between Melanie and her grandfather, where some supernatural occurrences go on. Then, their mating link disappears and he can't get a fix on her. So, like a guy he freaks out and goes looking for her. He can't do it alone, so his best friend Liam goes with him. They finally the call in the calvary to aid in the search and tells about the crazy call.
Royce tears poor Jace a new one, but I'm like you can't throw stones-cuz you way then messed up when you realized Kyra was your mate and witch. He acted like a total ass- so cut Jace a break.
Melanie has been abducted by her crazy grandfather, whom she ran away from when she was kid. She thinks he is going to sacrifice her to get her powers and tries to cook up another escape plan with help from the people who helped her escape years ago. Well, grandfather throws that plan out the window and tries to marry Melanie to male witch in the group to bind her to the coven so she can no longer get away.
Before that happens Jace, Max, Kellan, Rory and the rest of the guardsmen break up the nuptials and get Melanie out of there. Jace reveals his big secret, tells her they are fated mates and you know the rest.

However, before he can do that she is kidnapped by her Grandfathers minions. Ha...I said minions which thats what they are.
