All of this brings me back to my original question, is it time to check yourself? Are you still doing all the protective and preventative measures that were first put into place a year ago? When you go shopping, do you still wear a mask? Do you make an honest attempt to maintain some distance between yourself and the person in line in front of you? Do you take the time to wipe off the hard surfaces of items you are bringing into your home?

More importantly, if you are eligible in your area, have you been vaccinated? I don’t mean just getting one shot if the brand requires 2 shots. Have you gotten both of them? While yes, just one dose of either Pfizer or Moderna is 80% effective against the virus, it also allows for more breakout cases to occur. Getting that second shot is important.

So take a minute to do a quick check. Are you still doing everything you can to keep YOUR family from being infected??

With the magic between Quinn and Elsa powers, they manage to destroy Geneva and her buggers.
Elsa wants Quinn but she wants a partner, not someone who tells her what to do all the time. Ah, the complexities of love. Will they work things out? You'll have to read for yourselves to find out the outcome.

I just love this series and each one gets better than the last one. This book was no exception and I highly recommend it and the whole series. Quinn has been locked away, unable to communicate with his fellow brothers in the Dragon Guard. Once Elsa gets him safe and thawed, he is unable to remember who he is or what happened to him.

As Quinn begins to remember who he is and what happened, he also realizes that the aunt of his Elf (mate) is the one that locked him away.

A dragon and an elf, perfect for Christmas time. One might think an elf, really? But Julia Mills has written a wonderful storyline that has humor, magic, action, and of course the love of a mate.

The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars, is I wanted to read about Elsa getting to meet the other dragons and the Dragon Mating Ceremony. Always enjoy the preparation the Dragons go through to prepare.

Although you can read this book as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the entire series.

I love all The Interstellar Bride books. Grace Goodwin delivers a world that seems so real, nothing left to imagine. Like the worlds of Harry Potter or The Hobbit, the author describes every detail. Letting you feel like you are walking next to the characters. The love story of Quinn and Naiobe start on a Hive infested base , onto a battleship, Prillion Prime and the cadet training grounds. The story is really too good to even hint at. Two people from very different worlds with very different lives thrust together through the bride testing program.. Will she bend to him? Too not being in control? Will he be able to give a little? To compromise?
One of the best scenes was in the canteen when Commander Karter threatened to shoot Quinn (just stun him) unless he started talking about his feelings! LOL. How the earth females have changed these war hardened warriors. With every review I write for this series, I remain with the same thought...READ THIS..I read 1 or 2 randomly and then sucked it up and bought them all in 1 day and started reading in order!

Even through it was short --and that is my only complaint-- the story was excellent, well developed and Very attention keeping! Vice Admiral Niobe wasn’t planning on finding a mate but was tested and BAM, her match is Elite Hunter Quinn. Quinn was been captured by the Hives leader Nexus. He didn’t ever think he would find a mate. When Niobe shows up, she is instantly in Hive central and rescuing Quinn. But things aren’t as easy with their mating.

I was glad about the rescue but boy did these two have a great deal to work through. Being a Hunter makes things really tough. And Niobe’s position is high up there. THAT was really tough for Quinn to understand and find his place with her. With the Hunter mentality of chasing, these two were having to find that middle ground. There were parts that you just wanted to smack the back of Quinn’s head. Then you end up chuckling over the conversation with all the other warriors and commanders. These two were so hot for each other. I look forward to reading about Commander Zeus and Atlan Zan.

What would you give up for your mate? Vice Admiral Niobe, thanks to her friends, she is in the bride testing chair having the most amazing experience. In her 30's and at her rank there probably wouldn't be a mate for her. To her surprise she has a mate. Right away she is tranported to his location. Elite Hunter Quinn is a captive of the hive. He has been tortured, his crew has been killed, and no escape in sight. Was did come into view was the most amazing woman he ever saw. Not exactly the perfect meeting, but it led to good things for the coalition, but it is not ending up that way for Quinn. His mate is high ranking and all business. Able to go places and do things he can not. That was not going to work, his plan was genius, hopfully he would not end up in jail. Love this book, and the series is amazing.

As a fan of Ms. Delta James' Wayward Mates series, there are many similarities in the storyline, two wolf shifters meeting, realizing they are fated mates, which she will fight, but never wins. But then, beyond how they come together, accept fate, and the relationship, the story is new. This new series, Tangled Vines, will also revolve around vineyards.

Shasta Warren, daughter of Artemis Warren, sent her to Sonoma Pack because he was tired of dealing with her. She has earned a reputation of being difficult, but Xander Charles, from Sonoma, shows her kindness compared to her father's Beta. When she goes to the Sonoma Pack, she is a bitter she-wolf, uncooperative, but she isn't mistreated.

Hudson Rhodes has recently ended his military time as a Navy SEAL and is ready to take his rightful place as Alpha of Coronado—removing his older brother, Miles, and his mate, Chelsea. After he sets things right again, he will be going to Damian's for a meeting of other Alphas to discuss the issues with the hunters. What a surprise when he arrives and can smell her—his fated mate.

The plot begins with a group of Alphas coming together at Sonoma Pack and having Shasta use their businesses to attempt to make her escape. She may get away on Zeus, Damian's stallion, but once Hudson catches her sent, he is in pursuit, going a different route provided to claim his fated mate. The story has plenty of angst, action, adventure, mystery, suspense, and danger. Before Hudson can claim Shasta, they will come under attack by Hunters, and he is injured helping her escape. Shasta will direct others to his location, and while she might be able to slip away, she doesn't; she waits for Hudson—for the medics—and then must decide her future.

There is something about Hudson that calls to her, she watched him risk his life to save hers, and he treats her well. But that isn’t enough for her to slip away while he is recovering—or him to come to NOLA and find her. The Hunters are becoming more brazen, and the risk is high—but maybe, just maybe, Shasta will be able to convince one of them that they are being played.

Another wonderful read by this author! Hudson and Shasta balance each other out perfectly. He is an alpha and protective and dominant whilst she is sassy, bratty and willful. Shasta has been a thorn in the side of her Alpha. When Hudson shows up at her pack wanting to discuss the Coronado Vineyard he declares her his mate and let the games begin. The Hunters are becoming more and more bold, what will happen when Hudson is attacked by said Hunters? Will Shasta come to his aide? After she disappears will Hudson track his wayward mate down?

This book easily swept me up into its captivating storyline. The combination of emotion, drama and action is potent and consuming. Shasta and Hudson were amazing characters that really deliver a rock solid one-two punch right to your heart. Shasta was feisty and so easy to feel for and Hunter will have you swooning with his hot intensity and alpha tendencies. Tension, steam and danger keep you on the edge of your seat while being bombarded with heat and excitement. This is my elective, candid review.
