Olivia was with another pack when she found a very old dragon who had been tortured with black magic & beatings for no reason.

The old dragon is from Drago’s, Kyran’s, Maddox’s ,Kayne’s & Quinn’s old unit before they were captured by the evil wizards & separated from each other.

Olivia knew right away but, couldn’t believe it; the old dragon is her mate & the 1 that she’s been dreaming of. Her dragon’s name which she finds out after her wakes up in the clinic is Angus MacLendon (that last name sounds familiar right).

Now though in order to find more about their story you’ll just have to read this book to find out.

They are out for a celebratory run when they discover an unconscious man covered in mud on pack land. Liv recognizes that his is the voice she's been hearing in her head, begging for her help. But more, he's her mate, and he's dying.
This book captured and held my attention. The link between Liv and Angus was strong and grew quickly as his consciousness and strength returned. It was unusual that the torture he'd endured for so long didn't impact his behavior and head space more than it did, his focus stayed on his mate. I enjoyed their story, which can standalone.

I love the stories of the lost brethren. Angus and Olivia's story is no different.

Angus has been held for a hundred years being tortured by a sect of traitorous wolves.

Olivia had been running in the woods as her wolf, when she heard the voice from her dreams begging for her aide.

Together their love is unstoppable.

I like how this shows the wolves' mating ceremony, but I miss the dragons.

It was a great, fast read. A great compliment to the series.
