Fury of Conviction (Dragonfury Bad Boys Shifter Series Book 2)

Chance brought them together in a world destined to tear them apart.

Caught between duty and honor, dragon-warrior Hamersveld is neck-deep in a dilemma. His commitment to the Razorback pack should take precedence, but when a new captive is brought into the lair, he’s forced to decide—risk everything to rescue a woman in desperate need of his help. Or stay loyal to the Razorback cause and keep his new home, along with his life.

Kidnapped by a rogue faction of Dragonkind, Natalie Bainbridge spends her days looking for ways to escape. Breaking out seems impossible until one of her captors offers her a trade—spend time with him in return for greater freedom inside his lair. With time ticking down, she enters the fray, playing a dangerous game with a man who makes no mistakes.

Will she buckle under the pressure? Or hold the line and break free for good?

I love that Hamersveld has found some redeeming qualities within himself and that he has partially stood up for what he felt was wrong. I am expecting great things to come from him.
Natalie changed too once she got away for her prison cell and was with Sveld.
The only thing negative I have to say is that the ending ended with a bit of a cliffhanger between these two.
I realize that several things have to change before they receive their complete hea. (I was sort of hoping that he could join in with Mac's group.) This would probably be an epic novel if everything happened at once.
I am biting at the bit to get more of these glorious dragon stories!

Oh my! No one can make you love a bad boy like Coreene Callahan! Hamersveld and Natalie were a perfect combination and so good for each other. I almost lost it when I realized this was a cliff hanger!!!! Aaaaahhhhh!
I can’t wait until this story continues. I mean it will continue, right?????

Fury of Conviction is the second book in the Dragonfury Short Story Collection by Coreene Callahan. Who doesn’t love a great dragon shifter story- I know I do! So, it was never any question that I would snap up a copy of this book the moment I saw it in my notifications.
Coreene Callahan is a ‘new-to-me’ author and I am really baffled as to why I haven’t come across her books before now, because after doing a little stalking- er, um, I mean research, I discovered that she has written a slew of Dragonfury books, and as I mentioned before, I LOVE dragon shifter stories, so I am kicking myself that I have been missing out all this time, and I hate missing out on good books lol….
Anyway, I digress, back to my review. This is a great little paranormal romance, with DRAGON SHIFTERS 😊, fantasy, kidnapping, drama, agendas, chemistry, and action. It was a great introduction to Ms. Callahan’s style, and definitely gave me a taste for her work. The only issue I have is that I wish it had been longer (this is a novella length quick and easy read) as there were aspects of the story I would like to have explored in greater detail. It really made me curious about the pack and the Dragonfury ‘world’- so I will definitely be going back to explore the rest of the Dragonfury books/series- as there seems to be quite a lot of full length novels there for me to sink my teeth into…. so stay tuned.
