This is such a fantastic ending to the series. Piper and Remy have known what they are to each other for years. Unfortunately a decision he made when they were both much younger has come back to bite him. This plays out almost as a “Second Chance” romance. The only question is if they will get that second chance before the Darkness comes for them.

Remy finally claimed his fated mate Piper. At first Remy believed he had nothing to offer Piper that is why he left to become a Navy Seal leaving behind a broken heart Piper. But loved won out in the end. As they defeated the darkness that was set on destroying Remy’s family. Great story. I enjoyed this series very much. It was great to read about the parents in the Wayward Mate and the Tangled Vines series but to read about the children all grown up and finding their fated mates just makes you go aww 🥰. The "Darkness" continues to rain havoc and the battle against it continues to grow. Now the "Darkness" has returned and is ready to obliterate the one thing it hates most: the H pack. OMG! What a fitting ending to this series. This is the H and h story to save Riviere Du Loop and the shifters. But they need help....all the characters from the first four books are all brought together to plot and plan the fight against the "Darkness". Do they win? Read to find out what happens.

But this books brings them all back together and I get to say a fond farewell and hope to read about them again. Remy intrigued me from the start.
