An oblivious man. An order from the King. A love that can never be.
Ina is the youngest of the four Ross sisters and the only one who has not found her happily ever after yet. Although being the most petite of the four, she is a fierce warrior who intimidates all men who want to marry her.
When a handsome young Prince comes to the castle riding his beautiful stallion ordered by the King to marry young Ina,everyone thinks she found her very own fairy tale.
But Ina cannot stand him.
She instead falls for a huge man named Beiste who came riding an exhausted horse dressed in tatters and without remembering anything! This strange man, despite being wounded, before falling unconscious, he asked her to take care of his horse and nothing for himself. Ina had never met such a selfless man before.
Being one of a kind herself too, her rebellious character pushes her to act reckless and try to escape her fate. Life is no fairy tale though, so she gets in deadly danger.
When all hope seems lost the mysterious stranger will wake up from oblivion and any man standing in his way will have to flee.
But no man can defy the orders of the King. It will take a Beast to do that.
NavyWave62 TOP 1000 REVIEWER 5.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 STARS - HAS EVERYTHING I WANT IN A STORY! Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2019 Verified Purchase This is my 8th story by this author and she is becoming a favorite of mine. We are treated to humor, suspense, twists and interesting main and secondary character's. Romance builds slowly and this is a clean story with only kisses. The blurb gives too much away so you figured out who the villain is and who is the Prince, but still an interesting story. I loved the strength of the sister's and even though part of a series, can be a stand alone. But, I enjoyed the other stories too. My only problem with the story our H has broken ribs and within days he is rowing a boat and knocking a door down - lol. No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, romance and a story I hated to end. I can't improve on the blurb, just recommending this story and author. (ljb
Marti F 5.0 out of 5 stars Looks Can Be Deceiving Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2020 Verified Purchase What an amazing read!! Having read several other books in this series, I knew some of the characters in the story and looked forward to getting to know them even better. But the rebellious nature of Ina matched up with the strong, knowledgeable Bieste who, even with amnesia understands honor and loyalty to protect others, makes for an amazing tale of family bonds, greed, deceit, and love. Add in the wonderful two characters of the aunts and the needed humorous relief keeps everything sane. Great story by a very talented author!
