Savage Predator (Masters of the Deep Book 3)

Flynn Michaels lived for the sea and for solitude. Only his call to the Kracken eclipsed his yearning for the pull of the tide. His fellow SEALs are his family, His duty his joy.

Until she crashed into his life. And everything changed.

Savage Predator is the third book in a series of stand alones written by Delta James and Felicity Brandon. This series has been a wonderful reading experience written by two adept authors. I’ve read every book thus far and plan to continue until its conclusion. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself.

This book is the story of Flynn and Devon, two very strong individuals who come together to create something special and worthwhile in their lives, despite the dangers lurking around the corner of their perception. In this romance Devon knows just how to treat Flynn and Flynn reciprocates in kind. This was such a fun read!

As is usual with these two authors the story is cleanly written and keeps the reader’s attention throughout. The world building is very concise, the plot engaging and the characters fully fleshed out and interesting. And as is usual with these two authors I highly recommend their work!

Simply love this series! The men are to die for - all growly, controlling, and protective; and the women are strong, intelligent, and submit only to their man. Flynn and Devon are no exception, and they meld seamlessly into the storyline that has it all: intrigue, suspense, bad guys to hate, and gripping enough to have the reader salivating for what comes next. Great series!

A lot of unanswered questions but I guess as this series keeps going I will get the answers. Again a little bit of spanking yes, a little bit of dominance yes but some of the other stuff what is it BDSM OR BSDM is okay for others but not my cup of tea per say. But this is definitely a good story a great mystery. I am still having a hard time understanding were they created (shark shifters) are just like wolf shifters was it in their genes to shift into sharks? Does Nash gets his own book? I hope the next book answers these questions and more.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!

Flynn, along with a secret group of shark shifters, is an Oceanic Whitetip Shark whose sole purpose is to protect the secrets hidden within the USS Kraken.

Devon entered Annapolis right after high school. She immediately attended law school and quickly graduated from Officer Training. Now, she is being asked to fly to Mexico to investigate the death of Admiral Warrenton. Once she arrives in Mexico, Devon is unacceptably waylaid by Schumacher, the same man the shark shifters distrust immensely.

Flynn is immediately fascinated by Devon. He is hoping for a one-night stand. Since Devon is completely, surprisingly, interested in Flynn, she allows her submission to react to his dominance and they find their attraction is way more than either of them expected. WOW! Their connection is Hotter than Hot!!!
The problem faced by the shifters and Devon is to try to determine what Schumacher and another deviant, Eli Green, are working on.

This is an exciting, dangerous and intriguing story. I love the way Devon allows her submission to immediately answer to Flynn’s overpowering dominance. They both have dominant day time personalities, but when they interact outside of work areas---WOW! I cannot wait to read more.
