Lars Jakobsson, the leader of the Berserker Syndicate controls everything. He is also my only hope.
Rhys Donovan is mine. The moment I laid eyes on her she became my obsession. We had one fabulous night together before she disappeared from my bed. In the end, she’ll come to me because I marked her and started her transition. And when she does, I’ll demand judgment.
The moment our eyes connect my world shifts. I give myself one night with him and then I slip away. He isn’t a man to let go of what he considers his easily, and there’s no question that I’m his. I have never found myself so completely mesmerized by a man.
The question is not would I submit but would I survive?
Alliances are made. Complications are kept. Judgments are demanded.

Kindle Customer 4.0 out of 5 stars Judgment was passed. Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2022 Verified Purchase Lars and Rhys had a rocky start, with him staking his claim from the jump. Rhys slipped away from him having no knowledge of her new self. She's searching for justice and if the authorities won't help her, she'll use her feminine wiles on the local gangster. Of course Lars cannot let her go, bringing her kicking and screaming into the fold. She challenges him at every turn, earning herself some hard time over his lap. Sensual and steamy as any DJ novel. The plot with the painting was intricately woven into the love story and had a satisfying ending. A good read indeed. I received an ARC from Booksprout for an honest review.
Denise DeCrescito (From In Here) 4.0 out of 5 stars A different twist on a paranormal story Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2022 “Judgment” is book three in the ‘Syndicate Masters: Northern Lights’ series by Delta James. Although it’s part of a series, it can be read and enjoy it as a standalone story. It’s a paranormal romance that unfolds differently from most stories with shifters. Lars Jakobsson and Rhys Donovan meet at a BDSM club in London. They scene together in a private room, and it’s an intense experience for both of them. Unbeknownst to Rhys, Lars is a tiger shifter. He recognizes her as being his fated mate. She’s human, though. Instead of talking to her about the situation, Lars decides to claim her and bites the back of her neck, an act that begins the process of transitioning her into a shifter. He doesn’t get her consent to do so. Rhys has no idea what he’s done, or even that the bite was much deeper than rough play. They both fall asleep after their encounter come on and when he awakens, he discovers she’s left him. It's a big problem because they never even exchanged names, and she has no idea she’s going to become a tiger shifter. There are lots of surprises in this story. Plus, Rhys has a missing sister who was working undercover with Interpol investigating Lars and his syndicate. The sisters were supposed to meet in another city, but only Rhys showed up. Now, someone is targeting Rhys. Lars is the head of a massive criminal syndicate, but it seems that he it’s the only one who can help protect Rhys figure out what has happened to her sister, and who is targeting her. There is intense chemistry between Lars and Rhys, with the strong D/s dynamic this author is known for creating in the intimate scenes between leading characters. There are good secondary character, including the villains. The mystery is a solid one, and the solving of it is entertaining. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily sharing my thoughts and opinions. i also purchased a copy.
