Wolves of Willow Bend Book 7: River Wolf

Brett Dalton is the Alpha of Hudson River and since one of his wolves went mad and murdered several members of his pack beneath his nose, he’s isolated himself from his pack mates. The once, easygoing Alpha has become taciturn, remote and unforgiving. His pack worries for him, but they too have suffered a devastating blow. When several members leave to join Three Rivers, the pack faces the threat of dissolution until Brett’s best friend and Lone Wolf, Luc Danes returns to Hudson River accompanied by a beautiful young human—or is she? Something about the woman consumes Brett. Has Luc come home to help or to take the pack from Brett?

Colby Jenson wrapped up 300 hours of community service working at the hospital in Maine when an injured Luc Danes rolled through the door. The impossible patient drove the nurses crazy, but when Danes offered her a thousand dollars no strings attached to drive him to New York, she agreed. The last thing she expected was to arrive in the small Westchester County town and to meet the craziest collection of residents—especially the devastatingly sexy Brett Dalton. He turns her inside out, but the man’s vicious temper and cold manner confuses the hell out of her. Part of her wants to hit the road, the rest wants to make him smile and Luc keeps making excuses for her to stay.

Then she sees the wolves…and is exposed to a world she can barely imagine. When Luc offers to keep her with him, Brett suddenly rouses at the challenge. Now she will find herself torn between two men—one she cares about and one she could love.

Wolves of Willow Bend Book 6.5: Wolf With Benefits

After graduating college and spending a summer breaking the law, Shiloh Sullivan needs to make amends and accomplish something for Willow Bend. When she returns home, her best friend—the wolfish and playful Matt Montgomery—distracts her. In an effort to make his mother feel better, Matt cons Shiloh into telling his mother that she came home for him. The little fib, he promises, is all his mother needs to feel better about his sister’s recent mating and exodus across the ocean.

Pretending a relationship with a wolf is impossible and, while Shiloh might be human, she knows the rules.

The friendly-with-benefits arrangement suits Matt fine. It makes his mother happy, helps the pack forgive his best friend, and gives him a reason to pry into the secrets Shiloh’s been keeping. Still, the closer they get and the more rules they break, the more Matt’s wolf wants to change their con game into a mating game. Two problems stand in his way—Shiloh’s very human parents never wanted their children to take the bite, and a wolf from across the line has his eye on her, too.

Can Matt keep his best friend and mate her too?

There are quite a few novellas in this series and this is one of my favorites.

Shiloh was one of the humans that helped Luciana move the wolves to form the sixth pack. She was the first one to return when Mason ordered them home. Not because of the order but because she didn't like what she saw with Patrick challenging Serafina the Delta Crescent Alpha.

Now many are not happy with her being home, wolf and human. The most prominent of those humans, her family.

An incident at the grocery store, has Matt has moving her into his home and she has some decisions to make. He is sort of claiming her as his mate, not realizing it may very well be true.

Lots of family drama in this one, Shiloh's family has some issues with her relationship with Matt.

I had a hard time reading this story, at first. Shiloh, in my opinion, made some extremely foolish, naive decisions. She saw the world as a human and didn’t have a grasp the wolves way of life that would have allowed her to make more informed choices. That said, seeing her try to reintegrate into Willow Bend was hard. Matt’s involvement seemed to completely change her life around, and gave her something else to focus on. Though she still felt she was right, I think she might have finally understood the impact of her actions.
All in all, I loved this story and am glad to have seen Shilohs point of view.

This is a great addition to the Willow Bend Series, answering questions I didn't even know I had. Shiloh left the WB pack for college, then armed with a degree in social work, she helped form an illegal sixth pack. Events within that pack led to her coming home to her human family and her best friend in the WB pack, Matt. Mason, WB pack Alpha, has questioned her thoroughly and forgiven her, with conditions. Others in the pack have been less tolerant and her parents are among those. So when Matt breaks her out of her parent's house and proposes a faux romantic relationship for her to regain the pack's acceptance, she is shocked. But after her vehicle is vandalized in the grocery store parking lot, Matt takes things into his own hands, moving her into his garage apartment. And from there, they begin to work through the obstacles to Shiloh regaining full acceptance within the pack that is her extended family. And for each to rethink their role in the other's life.

Wolves of Willow Bend Book 6: Untamed Wolf

Dylan Royce, Willow Bend Hunter, is a natural flirt and courted his fair share of she-wolves, but he’s never found the woman who makes his pulse race. With the new pack’s borders verging on Willow Bend territory, he’s tasked with keeping an eye on them. His job grows more challenging daily, especially since one seductive female keeps crossing the line.

Chrystal Landros knows she’s supposed to keep to her side of the Three Rivers-Willow Bend line. But she loves to explore, and Willow Bend is home to some spectacular sites. As a former Lone Wolf, she hasn’t always been certain of her welcome, but her new home in Three Rivers opens a wonderful world of unfamiliar opportunities. Too bad the wolf who makes her blood heat is tasked with keeping her away from the places she wants to visit.

While Dylan and Chrystal clash repeatedly over her border incursions, the game between them threatens to turn deadly. Tensions between Willow Bend and Three Rivers continue to rise. Could their forbidden dalliance be the spark to ignite a war?

Oh Chrystal, you truly stink at staying within borders. The situations you get yourself into, well let's just say you need to be more careful.

Dylan was looking forward to his date and enjoying the snowfall on his route when he scented the wayward wolf. When he finds her in a precarious position he is annoyed and scared for her.

This is not the last time Chrystal crosses borders. The next time in the middle of a blizzard leads to issues with her pack and Willow Bend. But it also leads to rescuing a wolf and her cub and three days alone with Dylan.

Lots of surprises in this one, we see a bit more the mysterious Enforcer Julian and of course Mason. Some hold your breath scenes and some seriously hot ones.

In this sixth book of the Wolves of Willow Bend, Heather long continues the story of the trials, dreams, and unexpected happenings to this pack. For anyone who is not sure who Dylan is from the previous books he was the wolf that was mysterious but also the "gift to women", lol, so not ready to settle down. Put a wolf up against a female, Chrystal, who lives in her own world on the outside of pack life and you have the makings for a good reality check with both characters.
Please don't get me wrong because Dylan is one of my favorite wolves at Willow Bend, I just like to see when someone gets blindsided out of the blue and tries their best to deny what is happening. With my heart going out to Chrystal and all that she has gone thru and still going thru, it is no wonder that i was sitting on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next between these two and what role Julian has in Chrystals life.
I am already anxiously waiting for the next book in the series. Thank you Heather.

What an interesting story. The first for me that involved an Omega. Chrystal is an interesting - even eccentric -- character trying to find herself and get to know her wolf. It isn't easy for her and no one in her pack understands her either. The first to try to do so is Dylan, a Willow Bend Hunter, assigned to patrol the border. Even he misunderstands her confusion and her missteps, but he makes an effort to know her, to know her background. He becomes her protector, her lover, and ultimately her mate, as Chrystal faces the unknown as the Willow Bend Omega.

Wolves of Willow Bend 5: Bayou Wolf

The rise of so many lone wolves into a prospective sixth pack brings the Alphas of all the North American packs to Willow Bend for a summit. Having so many powerful dominants in one place invites challenges and hazards. No protocol can be ignored and none feels the strain more than Lincoln Buckley. He’s been charged by his Alpha to act as liaison for the Delta Crescent Alpha—the fierce and wildly beautiful Serafina Andre.

Serafina stands apart from her ‘fellow’ Alphas. As the only female to hold sway over a North American pack, she only has Delta Crescent’s interests in mind. She expects challenges from the other male Alphas, dominants all, due to their need to protect females. It doesn’t surprise her in the least to find out the wolf assigned as her liaison has also been tasked with her protection. What does startle her is the depth of her interest in him.

An Alpha doesn’t submit, no matter how much the woman in her might crave him. Her pack must come first, especially since what Willow Bend proposes is insanity…

Tensions are high in this book as we meet all the Alphas. The severity of the prospect of a sixth pack has Mason calling for a summit of all the Alphas, but Emma also needs to speak with the other healers regarding the issues from Hudson River. Thus the Alpha must bring their healer, since no Alpha will let harm come to a healer.

Mason is a crafty devil, I swear it! His choices for each Alpha's liason is genius. Claire for Cassius, Dylan for Diesel, Owen for Brett and Linc for Serafina. Claire because of her relationship with Cassius, Dylan and Owen because of their strength, and Linc because of his Alpha potential although he doesn't want it.

I couldn't believe Diesel's audacity, or for that matter Alexis storming in, between Mason and him. A hold your breath moment for sure even before the first summit meeting.

Serafina comes on to Linc pretty strong, but he fights his attraction for the sake of the summit. That is until he can't.

After the matings in the previous books, I can't help but wonder if Mason already knew Linc and Sera would become mates.

I did quite a bit of giggling, held my breath more than once, I even sniffled a few times. Yet another book I couldn't put down until I turned the last page.

This series is detailed, suspenseful, complex and addictive. The characters are three dimensional and the world building is superb. The storyline for this book involves politics, loyalty, compassion, diplomacy, arrogance and sacrifice. I loved it. The author is on my auto-buy list and her books are on my reread and recommend lists. I can't wait for book six.

In Book Four, an Italian alpha and her lone wolf mate began a new sixth pack, made up primarily of lone wolves. Mason, Alpha of the Willow Bend pack, has invited the other four Alphas to meet with him at Willow Bend to discuss the issues and come to a decision about the new, illegal pack. He assigns Lincoln, triplet brother to AJ and Tyler, as liaison to Serafina, Alpha of the Delta Crescent pack.

Sera is a strong, beautiful, and intelligent woman, and she was Mason's former lover when he was a lone wolf. Mason warns Linc that she is strong willed and tends to get what she wants, usually without her prey realising they have been manipulated. But Linc is an alpha, too, built like a tank, and a carpenter by trade. He is respectful but isn't intimidated by Sera or her position. What he is, is attracted at a very cellular level. So when Sera pursues, he knows standing his ground won't be easy.

Bayou Wolf is the 5th book in Heather Long‘s Wolves of Willow Bend series. Bayou Wolf is a great story about a female alpha. The author amazes and stuns with her ability to pull off such a strong female character – I am talking ALPHA strong – and have her remain such a feminine presence. Her insight and strength created a fresh feel pushing an Alpha story up to a new level.

Bayou Wolf in its entirety is a very unique story. All of the Alphas from North America have come to Willow Bend creating a tense situation. The fate of many lies in their hands and how they interact provided a clear glimpse into each of the Alphas. I loved this dynamic that was intertwined with the story of Serafina (Alpha of Delta Crescent) and Linc (Willow Bend pack).

The honesty between Serafina and Linc was part of the allure of this story. I enjoyed their interactions and attractions during every part of the story.

I am not going to lie here. This book contained so many things I already love. Yet, those things were not the basis of what made this a great story. If you have not read this series and love pack dynamics and werewolves, you do not want to miss this series. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

I rate Bayou Wolf 4.5 out of 5 Bullets!

Heather long has out done herself. In this fifth book of the wolves of willow bend we get to see Linc the last of the triplets, that is not mated, go up against a woman who is more powerful and determined than he is. Sera is a strong alpha that has had to prove herself capable enough and willing to take care and be responsible for her pack. Putting these two strong personalities together could be very explosive making everything that Mason is trying to do fall apart. I could not put the book down until i finished it.

This is one of those books that I want to go on and on because i can see not only the two high profile characters in this story line but also at least six others like Ranae, Brett, Cassius, the Yukon pack, Trish, Jerome,, and Amy. I will definitely continue to follow this series.

This is one of my favorite Willow Bend books even though I didn't have much love for Margo when I started reading it. The drool worthy Italian Alpha Salvatore, the strong, snarky and sometimes brutal Enforcer Margo, a missing sister, a rogue lone wolf and of course the ever not so lovable Julian.

Mason is the Alpha who grants Salvatore entry to the US to search for his sister and Margo is the enforcer who collects him from the airport and escorts him to Willow Bend. A trip that is quite amusing as Margo takes offense at just about everything Salvatore says.

The search for the Alpha's sister brings forth a realization that is not in the least comforting. Not to the enforcers and certainly not to Mason.

For Margo another unsettling truth could mean her death, but maybe for a chance at something more if she is willing to take it.

We meet a lot of enforcers in this one, including the powerful and mysterious Julian. Plenty of interaction with Mason and Willow Bend including a showdown or two with Margo's mother.

Fast paced, intriguing, sensuous and witty, don't miss this book

I was waiting for this book since book one where I originally read about Margo. The prequel Wolf At Law came out after book 1 so if you start that book first she's mentioned in it. Margo hasn't had it easy. Too dominant to remain safely in the pack under the old Alpha Toman, Margo was sent off to boarding school and to become a lone wolf when she was young. It was the only way to guarantee her survival with an Alpha known for having his wolves with alpha potential disappear. She's taken her job as an Enforcer seriously and practices tough love as it's the only way to teach the newly lone wolves how to survive in the human world without their pack. Problem is her lone wolves are disappearing and the enforcers are starting to see a pattern. Margo is on the trail trying to find out if someone's after her charges.

Salvatore is on very dangerous ground. As the Alpha of all the packs in Italy he's very strong. But now he needs permission from the 5 American packs to enter their territory and look for his wayward sister. No Alpha wants an Alpha traveling through their territory. Salvatore is given an Enforcer to escort him while he investigates whether his sister willingly left Italy with her lover, or if her lover kidnapped her.

I absolutely loved this book. Margo was so strong in book one that I wasn't sure how the author was going to be able to soften her up to allow her to fall for someone. I think Salvatore couldn't be any more perfect of a choice and I loved following their journey

My introduction to Heather Long was her Fevered series, and I was hooked. I next began the Wolves of Willow Bend and now watch impatiently for new releases in both series. As usual, this book totally captivated me. One of my favorite scenes is when Margo and Salvatore shifted, played and hunted together. It was a joy to read. Long brings a balance of passion, suspense and charisma to her works. I totally recommend this book and series.

Margo, a lone wolf Enforcer, is assigned to accompany an Alpha from Italy into Willow Bend territory. Salvatore is looking for his sister, who left Italy with a USA lone wolf without letting anyone know. Margo has been looking for missing wolves, and is disgruntled about having to delay that job to babysit a foreign alpha. But they quickly discover a connection between Salvatore's sister and the increasing number of missing wolves and humans. And even though it breaks all the rules and leaves her facing a death sentence herself, Margo also finds she is irresistibly drawn to the stubborn and powerful Alpha, who plays by a different set of rules entirely-his own

Wolves of Willow Bend 3.5: Wolf Next Door

Tyler Buckley divides his time between fixing cars in his father’s shop and reclamation projects with his brothers. Losing his brother and his mate in the same year could have turned him into a surly, unapproachable wolf, but he kept his sights set on the wins in his life—his brothers, A.J.’s new mate and his family. The last thing he needs or wants is for Claire Webster to return home. Her arrival detonates an old rage inside the wolf, but he’s determined to stay as far away from her as possible.

When she was five years old, the wolf next door told her he was her mate and then ordered her not to play with one of her friends. From that day forward, Claire butted heads with Ty and his constant interferences. At sixteen, she caught the eye of a visiting Hunter, a wolf who treated her like a lady and not a possession. Wanting more than to be ordered around, she followed him away from Willow Bend, determined to never look back.

Eight years later, she sends a request to the new Alpha of Willow Bend. She wants to come home and, when he allows her the opportunity, she’s both relieved and terrified. The first person she runs into is the last one who ever wanted to see her again. The wolf next door grew up, and Tyler Buckley’s frigid welcome leaves her out in the cold. Can she admit she made the wrong choice, and would he even listen if she could?

Tyler had known Claire was his mate from a young age. Feeling stifled she had an opportunity to leave Toman's pack and she took it. Her parents were devastated, Tyler even more so.

Now she's requested to return to Willow Bend, Mason is a good Alpha but his concern is for the whole pack. Tyler will be a major factor in whether or not she gets to stay even though his mother has offered to sponsor her.

As Tyler slowly learns her reasons for leaving, he also knows he still loves her. He is also going to have to come to terms with his part in why she left.

Claire will also have to find her place within the pack, as well as figure out her relationship with Tyler. Much has changed under Mason all for the good but he will do what is best for the whole pack, not an individual.

Enjoyed this one but I really wanted to know more about what went on in Sutter Bute. The little bit that was told wasn't enough to make you understand just what Claire went through. The stuff told on why she left was so bland it just took away from the story and left you feeling like you didn't get enough. With nothing going on in the story after the first little tiff with Linc, that really was nothing, you don't get the action like in other stories.

So basically, she up'd and left, up'd and came back, the siblings didn't want her there but after one talk he was good with her, willing to work it out. We find out just how close she was to Cassius but take us on the journey, even if it's a flashback of what she went through, even if it's just the mess that pushed her out. Or if that's Cassius story give an example of her first real day there or something. What happened with Justin, give us something. Watered down, no action but just enough to make you want to read the next one

Wolves of Willow Bend 3: Wolf Claim

Gillian Whitford, darling of Willow Bend, brings out the protective instincts in all the dominants, but none more so than Owen Chase, the pack’s Hunter. A loner by nature and calling, Owen spends less time with his pack mates and more time on the borders of their land. Not even the change in the Alpha and the swearing of a new oath kept him around long.

Winds of change still drift through Willow Bend as they adjust to their new Alpha. When the Hudson River pack requests a fill-in healer to replace their own, Gillian, journeymen apprentice to their Pack healer, is the obvious choice to help. Owen forbids her to accept, but the sweet natured wolf rebukes his selfishness and volunteers anyway.

Risking a challenge, Owen faces off against his Alpha to appeal her decision and finds himself charged with her safety. Now, the loner will be escorting one of his pack’s most precious into foreign lands. Owen is a Hunter. Gillian is a Healer.
One protects. The other saves.
She's been after him for a while now. The attraction between the two of them so reaching a breaking point. But it won't until they are in another pack's territory, trying to help that Alpha figure out why his wolves seem to be dying off. Owen is wildly possessive of Gillian, desperate to make sure she is safe. It's through watching her fight for others, her putting herself in danger for him to realize what was right in front of him.

His protectiveness is just... everything. Every woman wants to be free to be herself, but feel protected by the man who cares about her the most. It was my favorite part of the book.

Wolves of Willow Bend 2: Caged Wolf

Triplets, the Buckley brothers were inseparable until everything went wrong one violent, bloody night. A.J. Buckley, the eldest of the trio, faced a human trial for a brutal murder. After six years in prison, A.J.’s conviction is overturned on a technicality and he returns to Willow Bend to face a new Alpha and fresh charges.

Vivian Knox was the only witness to the murder. She refused to testify in the human courtroom and spent a year in prison on contempt charges. Once released, she worked tirelessly to free A.J., finally locating a loophole in the case against him. Satisfied with his freedom, the last thing she expected was to be kidnapped to the back of beyond where another judge demands she testify to what she saw that night. This time, contempt is the least of her problems.

Caged Wolf by Heather Long is the second book in her Paranormal Romance series, Wolves of Willow Bend. Although I believe this book could probably be read as a stand alone. I am going to say that I think reading book 1 will likely add more depth to this second installment.

Caged Wolf did not disappoint. A great Paranormal Romance through and through with shifters, love, and fun reading! I truly enjoy this type of paranormal romance - a story that doesn't drag you down and leave you feeling like you are on overload. The high chemistry and intense multi-layered conflict had me flipping pages until late at night and sneaking paragraphs at any opportunity.

I was a little reluctant at first to read A.J.'s story. I felt it might be too intense emotionally since he was imprisoned for years, unable to shift, away from his pack, abandoned by the previous Alpha, and outcast (by force) by his family. I am thrilled to say that Long didn't bog us down with self-loathing and pain. Reading A.J.'s story was more about the freedom and happiness than it was the pain of the past. I LOVE THIS!

The relationship between A.J. and Vivian is a very different and unique story. I loved the dynamic his brothers added to the story and I fell in love with all of A.J.'s family and Vivian. The entire story put a smile on my face and l would certainly recommend this book to any paranormal romance fan!

AJ has just served a prison sentence that wasn't his to serve in the first place, and we finally find out why. It seriously made me squeal we they realized they were meant to be together. With everything this couple has been through it was nice to finally see them figure it all out.
Especially AJ. We love a good hard headed man who doesn't see what's right in front of him.

Really excited to keep reading the series. Cause Wolf Shifters have my heart

AJ has served six years in prison when evidence is presented that leads to his release. Both he and his wolf are battered and broken and he is emotionally unresponsive, until he scents Vivian. It was an attack on Vivian by a human that led to AJ' s arrest. But AJ has forbidden her to talk about the event. He believes Toman is still Alpha and that his release is a ploy to get him back home to kill him. Then he learns Vivian has been injured by a Guardian sent to bring her to pack land for questioning. And he is told she is the one who gathered the information that set him free. His wolf begins to surface for the first time in years and even crippled by prison, he is a force to be reckoned with. With their lives on the line, it is now up to AJ to protect them both.

I loved the first book in the series, Wolf Bite, and this book is a great follow-up. Heather Long has become one of my favorite authors, especially with her Fevered series. She is on my auto-buy list and I highly recommend this book, which can be read as a standalone. But to fully understand the backstory, it is best to read book one first

Wolves of Willow Bend 1: Wolf Bite

After a dominance challenge ended with his parents deaths, Mason left Willow Bend and his pack behind, choosing instead to live life on his own terms…as a Lone Wolf. A wanderer, he keeps his life simple and carefree until an unexpected encounter brings him face to face with his tragic past and the woman he always adored. Determined to get her out of his blood, he teases her into an easy one-night stand…but one taste will never be enough.

Adopted as a young girl, Alexis Huston lived on the fringe of pack life. She’s never been strong enough, fast enough, or pretty enough—except to Mason, but then he left her. Allowed her freedom as an adult and sworn to keep the pack’s secrets, she’s struggled to fit into the ‘human’ world. A chance meeting turns her hard-won life upside down.

She is left with two options—she can tell the only wolf she’s ever loved that she’s carrying their child…or she can protect him, keep the baby a secret, and run.

I adore Wolf Shifters.
My absolute favorite shifters, hands down.
So, naturally, I'm really excited to dive into this series and see what the Wolves of Willow Bend are all about.

Mason ran hard and fast in the opposite direction of Willow Bend after the death of his parents. He's a lone wolf, taking odd jobs and never staying in one place for long.
Until he crosses paths with Alexis again...
She's everything to Mason.
When he left Willow Bend, leaving her was the hardest part of it all.
Even years later he can't resist her and quite frankly, doesn't even try.
It's a massive web of deceit they are both living in.
One things for sure though-- it's all going to come to a head here soon.

Mason is all things Wolf-- possessive, controlling.
Just absolutely everything that I want in a Wolf Shifter as strong as him.
Alexis wants absolutely nothing to do with that world anymore-- she was tired of being a human among all of them. Even if she did leave behind her family. Mason was always the one who got away though, the love of her life.
And so much more.
I love that we got so much of the backstory that they present made sense. Because it was a quick way to get the two of them together BUT we had years leading up to this moment.
I can't wait to continue with the series!

5.0 out of 5 stars Series opener: Mason and Lexi

Mason' s parents died when he was seventeen and he left the pack, going Lone Wolf. Ten years later he is working in Dallas when he hears a voice and scent from his past in Willow Bend. Lexi stole his heart when they were young and is still captivating, but she is pack, even though she is human. And as a Lone Wolf he can have no contact with pack. But both want answers. Why did he leave? And why is she in Dallas living on her own, unprotected? The answers are connected in a way neither can begin to imagine. And their reunion has put them both in mortal danger.

This is a riveting book of betrayal and redemption. Mason and Lexi are perfect together and have the one thing needed to overcome all obstacles--their love for each other. Although it is book one in a new series, it is also a great standalone. The series has made my auto-buy list and I highly recommend it.

Alexis felt like she doesn't belong with the pack any more after her mother turned wolf. She gets a job away from home and the boy she loves. A chance encounter finds her with the boy she loved. He is no longer a boy, but a man. They have sex and he decides that he needs to leave before they get any closer. On his way out of town, he is asked to watch over the woman he loves. He stays and they keep having sex. The enforcer comes back and Mason leaves town. He leaves without telling Alexis he's leaving. Alexis finds out she's pregnant with Mason's baby. She doesn't want to cause him trouble. Mason is a Lone Wolf. They cannot have a mate or children. Alexis goes home and finds Mason there. Mason tells her he's killed the Alpha. He is now the Alpha and wants Alexis to be his mate. They mate. They know that there is going to be trying times, but as long as they are together they can do what they can to make it better for the pack. Good read. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.

Wolf Claim

Now, the loner will be escorting one of his pack’s most precious into foreign lands. He’s all that stands between her and a dozen potential threats…and if he doesn’t stake his claim, he may lose more than his heart.

I love this whole series. Having read each story individually, it is so much easier to have them in sets like this. There’s enough to keep it interesting without overwhelming your attention. If I’m binge reading, I want to just flip the page and start the next one.

What I didn’t like is that the prequel, “Wolf in Law” and the one that bridges between Wolf Claim and Rogue Wolf, “Wolf Next Door” wasn’t included. Those stories are important and add a lot of information to the overall world building.
