Jean-Michel and Darby's love story is one for the ages, and their chemistry is still off the charts hot. In 2028, they have been mated 10 years with three children, and are still very much in love. In 2038, their 20th anniversary year, their love is renewed, and they have added two more sons. Normally Delta James books, fated mate and corked series have me shaking my head, some I skip much off. But nonetheless I’m vested in her characters which are all amazing. Sometimes she gets carried away with the whole alpha male thing and it is a bit abusive and completely unrealistic but I must say this new series so far is the BEST! Ok I cried my ass off Darby and Jean Michael have always been one of her best couples and to think off them not dieing at the same time during a knot they fall asleep together to is heart wrenching. Thank god Delta had other ideas. This story is of their family and friends it’s definitely worth the read and I’m excited for the next, Little Skylar and Dax story.

OMG, there is nothing not to love in 'Touch of Fate', Delta James' first book in her "Fated Legacy" series!! Getting to see characters that I've fallen in love with from her "Wayward Mates" and "Tangled Vines" series was phenomenal! There are three distinct parts to this book all with ten years between so we're seeing the different stages of Jean-Michele Gautier and Darby's relationship and how all these friends tie into their love of family. I laughed. I cried. I got butterflies in my stomach. I was thrilled. I can't wait for more of this one.

This is the first book in the Fated Legacy Series and as always with all of Delta James books I am always excited to read the start of a new series and this was no different. It started with the wonderful celebration of the tenth anniversary of Jean-Michel Gautier and his Fated mate Darby becoming Fated Mates. Along with their three children and their friends and pack as they all come together to celebrate and wish their friends and Alpha and Mistress the very best.
It was wonderful to reconnect with characters in her past books the women and now mates from Bae Dogal and their Alphas and their children who are already starting to make their way in their packs, the males are as dominant as their fathers and daughters are as stubborn and opinionated as their mothers and all would die to protect their pack and anyone in need of help.
I do not want to give away too much about this book but I will say that I am not ashamed to say that I shed a tear at one point and I am sure other readers will do the same, after reading these books since the very beginning you feel an affinity for the characters almost as though they are friends you have come to know and regard fondly.
I cannot wait for the next book in this two part series, I have loved reading about the children of the past alphas and their mates as they begin to make their own way in life, taking over the responsibility for their own packs and its members.
I truly wonderful read.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

This was so good. I am not going to lie a few times I was close to tears. To be separated from your fated mate for so long. Delta thank you for using a older she-Wolf in your book. Notice I said older not old. Reading about Char makes me feel young. Daniel was a very patient and loving mate all those years and he never lost hope. This was truly a great read. I enjoyed The Tangled Vines Series very much. Great job Delta James.

This was the most emotional of all of the books in this series for me when fated mates
were torn apart without a thought for their happiness. I admired Charlotte’s resilience
and the length she went through to keep her fated mate plus her son safe. Daniel never
gave up on a future with Char and his son. He had no choice but to let them go, but
nothing was stopping him from claiming Char now that she was free from a loveless
marriage. Char tried to resist Daniel, but he was like a wildfire that threatened to
consume her. Char realized that Daniel and Raphaêl were as different as night and day.
Daniel respected her opinions while Raphaêl had been harsh and demanding, but she
was not prepared to be vulnerable again.

This was an entertaining story filled with action, danger, sizzling sex scenes, and just the
right amount of spankings. I enjoyed the inclusions of the characters from previous books.
The women continued to defy their men and wreck damage on their enemies. At the core
of it this was a true love story.

Delta James' newest series is heavy on the mystery, sex, and as usual, arrogant, demanding alpha males. Both Untamed and Determined end on cliffhangers, so if you are not a fan, you might want to wait until the entire series is complete. Overall, I enjoyed this story. Cade isn't as arrogantly demanding as many of James' other males leads, but he often does take choices away from Trey. While he "allows" her to continue her career, he is overly protective and doesn't always treat her like the capable woman she is. I do wish Trey would have stood up to Cade more often, but like most of the female characters that James' writes, she is too often overcome with lust.

A really good and interesting story overall, but ridiculous with the amount of sex scenes (I started skimming over them after the 4th - 5th one). Example - Trey encounters a life and death situation while finding out about Cade's true nature, and they immediately have wild sex out on the mesa! Really??? A lead investigator/Former FBI agent would NOT act this way! A bit more realism in reference to relationships would be great! Especially a character finding out her man is an animal shifter!

But what makes this author special is that we, as readers, are compelled to continue not just for the storyline but to see what happens in the lives of favorite supporting characters. I thought her alpha wolves were hot, but her mountain lions have prowled their way and sunk their barbs into my imagination. Fabulous start to what promises to be a fantastic series.

The prequel to set up this series did a fantastic job of introducing the main characters featured in the following four books. These are the sons of Hannah Waverly, Cade, Cash, Cole, and Clay, who will each have their own story. But this prequel starts sad, with Hannah's death, the reading of her will, and the responsibilities of her sons. The series is a paranormal shifter with steamy heat and power exchange.

Cade Waverly is with Delta Forces and only in town long enough for the funeral, and then he must leave on another mission—that is his life. He is the oldest of the sons. The Waverly sons have secrets—they are mountain lion shifters. While they can mate with a human, and their offspring would be full-blooded, his mate would not. Cade, like the rest of his brothers, is a mountain lion shifter and Trey is his fated mate or soul bond. Even with Fate playing a hand sometimes there needs to be a second chance at things and these two have definitely proved that theory. With action, adventure, mystery, suspense, passion, domestic discipline, this was definitely a great way to begin a series. I'm hooked!!

As a fan of Ms. Delta James' Wayward Mates series, there are many similarities in the storyline, but this one will involve a human and a wolf. Lincoln Steele is an Alpha, but not over a pack—yet, not a lone wolf. When he meets Grace Marlow, not only is he impressed with her credentials as a chef, he learns she is also a submissive and wants to play at Torch Light—she is his fated mate. Grace is human, and that isn't going to stop Linc—he will wine and dine her and win her over.

This new series, Tangled Vines, will also revolve around vineyards, and in this story, it will have Grace applying to be executive chef for both Lobo Bahia and Torch Light for the Steele brothers.

So the story has plenty of angst, danger, along with passion and romance. There are the D/s between them, but also a spanking scene and intense sex scenes. Unlike some fated mates, Grace learns what fated mates mean and what will take place, and she is willing to accept his claim and make her vows.
