OMG absolutely loved this book. It was great to be able to read about Lana and Taulan's dragonlets being born. Taulan poor fellow thought he was dieing but meanwhile he was actually feeling the Lana's labour pains, hilarious at times. I really hope that we will see more about this couple and their children, particularly because of the surprise ending.
Would definitely recommend this book to read but would suggest reading them in order to understand the characters better.

This story shows that life still goes on after the happily ever after part. Lana is pregnant with twins. Theses babies are part preor and part human, the first of their kind. This has everyone on pins and needles. There's no way of telling how the babies will react to pain medication so Lana has to have natural child birth ( imagine giving birth to two watermelons through an opening the size of a lemon with no pain meds, there's no words to describe the pain involved) The link between a preor warrior and their mate is very strong. No one knows how deep the link is until Lana goes into labor. Sympathy pains to the extreme.

Woohoo talk about special WOW this is really phenomenal short but powerful read.
And let me tell you what a surprise. Every single book that this lady has written in this whole series have all been many twists and turns and I love every minute of it.
Taulan joi Lana Coburn, War Master of the Preor Third fleet and his mate War Mistress Lana are going to have their babies any day now. Nervous is an understatment, just learning that they are going to have twins, is very hard to wrap there mind around, TWINS. Awww but Taulan is going to have to medical something is wrong with him but what? He War Mistress is walking the hall and so the most important event is about to happen.
A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
5.0 out of 5 stars A fun read especially for women who wish men would feel what the pain to giving birth is like.
Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2017
Hated that this was so short. Loved that Taulin had to suffer thru the labor pains & how the pain was able to bring the mighty Preor warrior down! How many women in the history of human's has said that a man (or in this case a Dragon) couldn't handle the pain in child birth! This was like sweet revenge, makes you wonder if he will be willing to go thru it again for more babies! 😉 I've always thought there would be less babies born if men had to go thru pregnancy & labor instead of the women. More deets would have been nice to some areas of the story too. There were a few points in this that weren't as cohesive, but overall, this was a fun read. I think all women who have given birth will appreciate this story.
Moving on to a new planet with Gerri. Don’t ask me how, but it seems like everyone who is anyone, knows Gerri!
Ivy Grimaldi can’t stand change. Ever. But change is something she’s had to deal with a lot lately. Like when her cousin Cassandra moved away to start a new life, baby and all. That all changes when Gerri Wilder shows up at her door with a letter from her cousin. Cassie wants her to come visit. Sure, why not? There’s just one problem. Cassie lives on another planet. A far-the-heck-away planet, with her hotter than hell shifter mate.
Vander Kasval, King of the shifter warrior planet Galaxa, has his own problems with change. A lead by example kind of a king, he’s between a rock and a hard place. He needs to find a mate to help put an end to a brewing civil war. None of this would be happening if not for a plague affecting only the females of his planet. His warriors and the men of the Palladian Capitol are ready to riot. Vander reluctantly agrees to send for matchmaker, Gerri Wilder. If she can find a match for him and his men, then his world might be saved.
Ivy agrees to go, if only to make sure Cassie’s okay. Oh, alright, and to maybe find an intergalactic hookup for herself in the process. In a planet full of big, bad, sexy shifters, anything’s possible, right? Ivy’s in for the time of her life in a planet of unimaginable beauty and dangers she had no idea existed. But Ivy isn’t one to sit idly by and let something happen. With two new friends, they’re about to take Galaxa by storm.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Disappointing Book with Silly, Highly Stereotyped Characters...
Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2021
What is happening to Milly Taiden? As I stated in my last review of her work, if you had asked me seven months ago about anything written by this author I would have said to you that she is a consistent powerhouse. I would have enthusiastically declared her to be the queen of all things paranormally romantic and sexy. I would have further stated that her stories almost never disappoint, are wildly free and unapologetically alpha filled, full of beautiful story landscapes, with her Paranormal Dating Agency (PDA) books at the top of this wonder! However, recently her books have been devoid of the emotionally intelligent, emotionally rich, witty and quirky, action packed adventures I have come to love and expect from her. And sadly this one “Throw in the Growl”, the latest addition to her PDA universe is no exception to this new and disappointing rule.
After reading her earlier sci-fi themed PDA installments of yummy Galaxa Warriors and grumbly, angst filled alpha hotties from planet Aurora, I was excited for a new interplanetary adventure. Instead what I found was, in all honesty, downright horrible. As here within the story of King Rath of the Salusain Kingdom upon the planet Corona Haize, and Anna, a sarcastic, quip filled stand-up comedian looking for a way to revive her career after a misstep on stage turns her into a comedic pariah. A situation her manager Clint hopes to rectify via a unique proposal. A plan that has her utilizing the services of Gerri Wilder, flying off to a new far away world, and dating an alien (and perhaps falling in love) all for the sake of material for her show. Is a tale full of tired and overused stereotypes reminiscent of outdated Gomer Pyle gags and not a Taiden book.
So disappointing was this installment to me that I am not even going to include the normal story synopsis I typically include within my reviews. As the characters contained are so confusing and cringe worthy I have to wonder if this installment was written by a ghost writer. A thought I have had for the last few books published under this author’s name.
Worse yet, this was another installment filled to bursting with typos and sentence structure issues. And what is with the capital A’s in the middle of words throughout? There were so many of them I was left thinking they were intentional, and if so, if this was perhaps some odd way of incorporating, Anna-isms, throughout to drive home the fact she is a comedian. Well if so, it missed big time and was more distracting than endearing. And on the reverse side of this typeset coin, if these actually were mistakes, well then holy hell why was it published in such a state?!?
After this installment I am not sure what to think? I normally love books by this author, but this book bordered on offensive with its typecast “loveable dunce” and was just plain silly. A far cry from the normally sexy and more sophisticated tales I have enjoyed from her in the past. In the end this one is a hard, hard pass for me and astonishingly almost ended up in my DNF file, something that has never before happened with one of Taiden’s books.

Rath and Anna are thrown together by the force that is Gerri Wilder.
But for very different purposes.
Anna is a comedienne.
Anna needs to revamp her career.
Anna sees this as an opportunity to gather new material.
Rath is an impetuous and impulsive ruler.
Rath acts before he thinks.
Rath wants to be taken serious as a leader.
When the two meet Sparks fly but not romantically, more like verbally.
There's definitely a culture clash, somewhat of a language barrier, but luckily Rath has his own translator.

There were some funny moments in this books, but not really enough to make me like it. I found both of the MCs to be just ridiculous. Rath constantly acted without thinking, acceptable for a teenage MC but not for someone who is a King and trying to impress his potential mate. Honestly I had trouble thinking of him as an actual adult most of the time. Anna is a comedian looking to reboot her career. But I found her rather bland as a character. Even the moments of "drama" were either really over the top or resolved way too quickly. I never felt the "love" between these two. There was lust at times, but even then it seemed like they just acted without thinking of consequences.

What’s hotter than an alien with scales? An alien with wings and scales, not to mention a hot body.
At 457 Preor years old, Jarek sen Claron is a dragon ready for his final flight into the skies. This voyage to Earth as the War Master of the third fleet will be his final assignment. Once he has helped his fellow Preors secure human mates, he will return to Preor before the madness of loneliness overtakes his mind.
That all changes when he meets Melissa. Human Melissa with her sparkling eyes, bright smile, and body that would make any hot-blooded male drool. Unfortunately, she never registered as a Preor mate hopeful. No matter, the Knowing stretches between them and there is no way she can resist him. Until she does.
Jarek wishes to give her the choice to mate him, while everything inside him screams to take Melissa beneath his wing, now. No choosing necessary.
But should he draw her to his side when his enemies are circling? Many males do not believe the son of a Preor mass murderer deserves to have a mate. Can he survive the coming battles? Or will he die without tasting sweet Melissa’s lips?
If you are looking for steam factors, keep looking. To be perfectly honest, I’ve read books with a great deal more steam. BUT if you are looking for world building and great descriptions, take a look inside. The world building is first rate, the descriptions are fabulous. The characters are well written with flaws that we can all relate to. I first read this series a few years ago. I keep coming back to it because the author keeps adding to it, and I’m curious about where she will take it next!

I really enjoyed the connection between Jarek and Melissa and how he gave her time to adjust to him, he didn't force their mating on her.
Jarek is a alien dragon who is on his final flight, he is ready to accept he will never mate and he will die a lonely mad death. Well until he meets human Melissa, he wants to take her immediately but she has other plans. Tragedy strikes and Jarek is in danger, Melissa realizes she has feelings for him.... more than she was willing to admit. Can she accept this dragon of a man, or will Jarek parish from his injuries?

This is the first book that I have read by Celia Kyle. I have two of her other books on my TBR list and am hoping to read them soon. Wanted to read this series because she has a new book in this series coming out about baby dragons being born and I want to read it. So, I am reading the ‘The Dragons of Preor” right now. Loved this first book about Jarek and his mate Melissa. Thought Celia did an excellent job telling their story. I am hoping that this is a sign of the rest of the books in this series. This one for sure is one to grab and read. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Jarek is a dragon shifter on the planet Preor. These dragons keep the wings when in human form. (Which I thought was an awesome take on the dragon shifter.) He is getting to the age where he will go into the madness since he has not found his mate in his 457 years and he never thought to ever find her. So, as the War Master of the third fleet he decided to help the young dragons find their mate with the treaty from earth and the help of the Ujal. He had no idea that he would ever find his mate, much less on earth. He figured this would be his last trip before heading into his final journey as the madness consumes him. Once he leaves the ship to meet with the Ujal delegation he gets this odd feeling that something isn’t right and being the War Master assumed that maybe the Ujal were in danger. But that changes once he reaches delegation and he sees Melissa with the Prince Tave’s baby then the Knowing struck.
The Ujal are going to be advocates in helping the Preor find their human mates. Melissa never registered as a potential Preor mate because she is the nanny to the baby of the Ujal Prince Tave and Principessa Rina fa’Vyl-Zeret. While playing with the baby Ressa, Melissa’s world began to change. She could tell that something wasn’t right and that it was as if the air is sucked out of her. She has feelings that she isn’t feeling and can’t seem to separate each feeling from the next.
This is where I stop. Because from here on out you need to read the book and see for yourself how good it gets. Jarek has his job cut out for him in protecting Melissa and himself from the Preor that do not believe he deserves a mate. Will Jarek and Melissa survive the coming storm?
“That’s right. The men who use my services prefer big, beautiful, bold, confident women,” Gerri replied. “I understand not all women will be confident with their bodies, especially with the fiasco that is society on Earth. But having some love for their curves is a must.”
Plus-size Rebecca is on a jaunt to another world. She had hopes of finding herself a nice, sweet shifter like her sister, but somehow she ended up attracted to the big, fiery dragon. A dragon who isn’t looking for love. If only he didn’t have eyes that made her want to take her panties off and a body that sent her hormones into a frenzy, life would be a lot easier.
Vikter Dragos is dying. His dragon couldn’t find a mate and he’s at the end of his time. He’s fighting the attraction for a sassy, curvy human, but it’s near impossible to stay away from her. If only she’d been his mate, everything would be smoother. He’s losing control of his dragon and his emotions. With Becca around, he didn’t know what to expect.
Becca’s in constant confusion over Vikter’s hot and cold attitude. One moment he’s kissing her like the world’s going to end, and the next he’s warning her away from getting attached. Figuring out how to scale this dragon might take more patience than she’s got. When competition arises and Vikter sees another wants Becca, he’ll face his feelings or risk losing her forever.
These two were such a hoot to read about! I try very hard not to laugh while reading because that draws my hubby’s attention. But these two were an absolute joy to read. I’m looking forward to more!

Vikter is hot and cold when it comes to Becca, and they skirt around each other. Becca is mad due to Vikter's attitude but is still drawn to him. One day she ses a golden dragon and pets it. Rubs her hands all over the dragon, this may be what really wakes Vikter's dragon and the man up.

Steamy, sexy and thrilling, the Paranormal Dating Agency series just keeps getting better and better!!!! Charlotte travels to the planet Aurora to attend her best friend, Bella's wedding to the king, Alyx. While there, she agrees to give Gerri a chance to find her a mate (or two) and to travel around and see the planet. Charlotte becomes a guest of Brecc and Eros, the Alpha and Omega of the Ice Mountains. From the moment they laid eyes on Charlotte, Brecc and Eros knew she was the one for them, they only have to get past the walls she put up after being trapped in a hellish marriage to a man who belittled and insulted her for seven years. Time is limited since they have to complete their triad soon or get assigned a different mate by the elders, at the same time, tension between the Dragos and wolves are on the rise and everything seems to be coming to a head all at once. This series is fantastic and I can't wait for Vitker and Rebecca's story next!!!

For Charlotte, now that her best friend, Bella, is in love and getting married, it's like she's on a completely different planet. Oh wait, she literally is. LOL Charlotte, upon receiving a message from Bella through Gerri, Bella's former boss and matchmaker extraordinaire, is off to Aurora to visit Bella and be there for her wedding. Her mind is blown as she takes in the beauty, the uniqueness, that is Aurora. But the planet itself isn't the only thing capturing her attention.
Brecc and Eros, Alpha and Omega of the Ice Mountains, best friends, and wolf shifters, not only want a mate, but they need one, soon. Otherwise, the elders will take it upon themselves to find a mate for them, therefore completing their triad. Brecc and Eros are determined to find their own mate, someone they truly love and want to spend the rest of their lives with, instead of a woman that they had no say in being with. Plus, there's the issue they're having with the Dragos right now regarding the river. Not to mention, their once close friend, Vikter, is on one side of the fight, while they're on the other. But when they see Charlotte at Alyx and Bella's wedding, everything else fades because they know they've finally found her.
This was the kind of sex she’d only dreamt of—a man who wanted her body so completely he lost control for her. That was all good, but it was the way he kissed her, so tender and loving, the way he stroked her body like she was a goddess, that shoved a lump into her throat.
Isabella Barca is great at organizing—not so great at keeping her nose out of trouble. When Bella goes to work as Mrs. Wilder’s assistant, the opportunity of a lifetime pops up: travel with Gerri to another planet, a shifter planet, and help Gerri find a lion king his mate.
Alyx Treyvaal isn’t known for being patient. A lion doesn’t ask for help. A lion doesn’t apologize. And he most certainly does not purr. But once he meets Bella, he finds himself doing all of the above…except for purring. He will not purr.
With wolves stirring all kinds of trouble for them and a cousin who would like to shred Bella to ribbons, things are not simple for the couple. Not at all. One thing’s for sure, when his mate is taken and threatened, the entire planet will hear the lion king’s roar.
So fantastic and enjoyable. I loved this pair. The interactions between them were enough to make me laugh 😆 out loud.

Sexy, witty and funny, this series just keeps getting better and better. Alyx is a lion shifter and King of the planet Aurora, he needs to find a mate, his Queen, before his birthday or a new king will take his place. He calls Gerri to help match him to his mate but has to apologize first since he told her he could find his own mate without help, which was an epic failure. Gerri and her new assistant, Bella, arrive to help the stubborn King find his Queen. Bella has curves in abundance and has learned to love herself and demands any man she is seeing to do the same. She goes with Gerri on what should be an awesome adventure to the shifter planet. She meets Alyx and is immediately captivated by him and visa versa. Alyx pretends to be a normal guy, not the King, so Bella can get to know him for himself and not rely on preconceived notions on royalty to color her thoughts about him. Their romance in Hot and Alyx goes from a completely stubborn 100% alpha male with no compromise to a sweet, super romantic alpha male while around Bella, but there is a threat to Bella in the castle, a woman who thinks she should be Queen and needs Bella out of the picture to do so. I love this series and can't wait for Bella's best friend Charlotte's story!! Keep them coming!

Milly doesn't disappoint!!! If you have not read Books 1`-5 in the PDA series
That is Paranormal Dating Agency Series grab Twice the Growl which is book one and get caught up, Each book is a stand alone BUT you will understand more about shifters, Gerri, the agency and how each of the characters play off each other if you read the other books in the series.Believe me they are short read and very well worth it. I own every one and when I want a smile or want to get to have a good time with my hunny, we pull up one or two of the PDA books and read them together, They are hot as hell and pantie melting for sure. You might have some laughs in the books but you will always and I do mean ALWAYS come always dripping wet.
I was so happy to see that Bella was Gerri's new assistant and wondered when she left her all alone in the new place to unpack, You know when you tell someone to not touch something...that is the one thing they are sure to touch, OH YES. This book is literally out of this world hot. I have waited and waited for someone to explain to me where shifters have come from and Milly does in this book, I like the explanation quite well and look forward to out of this world match making from Gerri.
I am not one to talk about a book's storyline so you will not see me say much other than I was greatly impressed with the wording. I could see this world with my eyes like I was there. The castle in all it;s uniqueness. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to Book 7 in this series and more PDA.
Thanks for a great start to my weekend.

WOW I love this book series. Milly Taiden has took me to a whole new adventure and world with her Alion King. With out a doubt no one write write sex like the Smut Queen. I am always ready for the next book as soon as I read the new one. Opening up a whole world of shifters and giving them a background that I found a neat idea. Isabella and Alyx have a great non stop story and look forward to many more.
She snorted a giggle. “Have you seen Gerri? She’s going to make it her business to get that guy a woman, whether he likes it or not.” His lips pressed into a tight, thin line. “I know. She’s very hardheaded.” “Ah, don’t be angry. I’m sure whatever she does, he’s got coming. She mentioned he was a pain in the ass.” “Oh, the king is definitely a pain in the ass,” he agreed
Isabella has watch Ms. Wilder match up her 2 best friends and now working for the the Paranormal Dating Agency as her assistance takes her on a adventure she would have never believed. Who would have thought that shifter's had their own planet and she would be going to help the match maker extraordinaire. She could probably never in here wildest dreams there are Aliens but a A lion alien just may be to much...
Alyx Treyvaal the High Council demanding he get a mate has forced him into asking for help from the one woman he has told for years he doesnt need it. Now he has no choice tired of meeting woman that his lion wants nothing to do with his best friend sends out the call. Mrs Wilder can you help the King find his Queen? Or should he come to Earth and look for his self?
How can Mrs Wilder say no but she can make the stubborn man wait and worry.
Can Bella find a place she belongs?
Or will Alyx mess it all up in his attempt to make her see more than the King?
She gulped, forgetting what she was going to say momentarily when her gaze collided with a giant. Holy s***. It was Bigfoot! And Bigfoot was sexy as hell. Weren’t giants supposed to be ugly? She could tell the man was so tall she’d need a ladder to get up close and personal with his face.
I spend so many hours playing that I dream about dangerous missions on other worlds…and my gorgeous, in-game training partner, Kassius. That is, until I win. I beat the Starfighter Training Academy.
But is it a game? Or alien software designed to recruit new, unsuspecting soldiers for a war in another star system? Because when my hot as heck alien shows up at my workplace demanding I leave Earth and travel to the Vega system? What? When he informs me it’s my duty to fight Queen Raya and the Dark Fleet? Claims he wants me as much as I’ve craved him? Let’s just say things get crazy.
Facing the truth is never easy, but when I arrive at the Elite Starfighter base I learn that Kassius cheated the system, hacked into the game, and lied to everyone on two worlds to make me his.
Now who’s obsessed?

I thought that this book rocked! I love them premise behind this series and while I enjoyed book one, I did have some pet peeves with it. I'm very happy to report that this was not a problem with this book. The storyline here grabbed and kept my attention and the characters likable. Mia and Kassius shared a powerful attraction and had intense chemistry. Let me just say that the sparks the be a-flying around these two! The book itself offers a gripping blend of romance, emotion, excitement, drama and action that will have you eager to steal every spare moment you can to read "just a bit more". This series does have an overarching storyline, so I recommend reading these books in order. This is my frank, freely posted review.

I like the direction this story took. Kass is kind of a bad boy and I love it. He lives just on the edge like Mia but his cockyness gives him away. And Mia is the perfect character to fight for a just cause. Together they are scorching hot. I also like all the detective work happening. The author managed to make it exciting mixing it with all the action. If you think this book will be like the first, you would be mistaken and pleasantly surprised.
I’m on Prillon Prime for a surprise party. Me, the unmated Earth girl, a guest of the queen! I want to dress up and have fun. Not trip over my own two feet and fall into the arms of two of the hottest alien warriors I’ve ever seen. Ever.
What happens on Prillon Prime stays on Prillon Prime. Before they touch me I make it clear that I’m not looking for a mate. Or two. I have to go back to The Colony. My life is there.
But Prillon warriors are notorious for fighting for what they want. Apparently, what these two want… is me.

Just as good as the last. But I want more. I wish there was a better update on the Colony. I feel like they are still struggling to get brides. It would be great if one of the brides came up with a calendar idea. Also since there is no guarantee of a Bachelor Beast finding his mate, it would be cool to have three beasts on the show at once. So there would be a possibility of one successful match, but if there was more....it would be a hat trick. I liked Bachelor Beast, it was more out of the box than what has been done in the past. I like that she doesn't leave any questions left unanswered when the book is finished. Can't for the next installment.

When she wakes up in the morning, she's a little surprised they are not there. Her warriors had a mission they had to leave her bed for. She starts to have some feelings while they are on their mission and then bad news. There was an explosion and they are presumed dead. That's when Lucy comes to the conclusion that she wants more with Nik and Sam. SURPRISE!!

I totally love this book from beginning to end! So much action, suspense, romance, hot sizzling sex, and LOVE!!!!
I never tire of reading Grace Goodwin's books and every book, as different as it is, will always manage to get you hooked reading it straight through. There is no break or stopping for breaks as it just pulls you in and before you know it, you are hooked. You will never be able to pull away from the Interstellar Bride's Series story until you finish reading her books to the end (or better yet; finish reading the end of the Bonus Content).
I love ALL of Grace Goodwin's books. With that being said, this book right away pulled me in with the shocking twist in the beginning of the book. From there, I knew I was going to spend my day reading and thinking about this book.
You just can't help but get so immersed with the plot and storyline of this book that you can't help but feel that you are living and experiencing everything that is going on with the characters but mainly the main character of Zara.
I won't say much at all about the story as I feel I would be giving away quite a bit but I would definitely encourage you to read this book as there is so much going on with Zara and her way of survival as well as dealing with Isaac and the forces of Cerberus.
Seriously? Why isn't any one of Grace Goodwin's books picked up by the that of Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video or any other movie network or agency? In all her books, there is an ongoing war between the Hive (similar to the Borg in Star Trek but totally different) and the Coalition ( which is made up of an alliance of different planets with different Aliens and/Species- which some are soooo pleasing to the eyes of the mind here) as well as characters that we all can relate to which makes them unforgettable. Then add action, romance, suspense, drama, mystery, hot sizzling sex and LOVE, (yes I said that before but wanted to mention this again) and you truly have an experience that takes you to a level of fulfilment as well as that to the matters of the heart!❤️ It truly does and I am always wanting more after reading one of Grace Goodwin's books. I mean that too.
I really hope that one day I am able to see of one or more of Grace Goodwin's stories (mainly that of the Interstellar Bride's Series) becomes a movie or series. I would truly love to see that as Grace Goodwin is truly an amazing great writer. Once a month, I know that I will always be transported to a new or familiar planet for a few hours ( which is one of my favorite times for that month). I will always be wishing and waiting for Grace Goodwin's books to come to life either on the big screen (movie theaters). or the little screen (TV) but either way I will be here waiting for the next Grace Goodwin story next month while still reveling in the aftermath of reading Rebel Mate. It's that good!!! A hearty toast as always to one of the best writers always, Grace Goodwin!!! 🍷🥂🍹

He had a falling out with his family and has been fighting the hive and dealing with scourge of the galaxy. That is until he hears rumors that there is a human female about to be turned over to the EVIL Cerberos. Ooohhh I hope Cerberos get’s what is coming to him!
This book took me through twists and turns, it took me through some incredibly steamy times too! Whew, Isaak is one heck of dominant alien who expects all women to be submissive...lololololol, how do think things will go when he meets a woman who is a fighter? Yep, this is going to be good! I enjoyed the story, though there was just a tad to much (he won’t want me after, she won’t give into me and trust) for my personal taste, but I also get where the characters would feel that way based on their life experiences.
I think my favorite part of the book was the ending, when everything came together, and it all just clicked. Isaak and his past, Zara and her desires, the spies and lies, and the storyline....it was a fabulous ending! If you like you like hot alien pirates.... you will love Isaak. If you like a strong, independent woman that can stand on her own two feet...even if a big ole alien is picking her up...you will love Zara. If you like a good revenge story...you will like this book! I don’t think I will ever tire of the Interstellar Brides and look forward to the next book!

Even after 20+ books in this series, the stories are still unique, sexy, romantic and full of drama and adventure. Grace Goodwin does a fantastic job of making the characters seem so realistic that you can’t help but immerse yourself into the story and cheer for their happily ever after.
The world building is vivid, the danger is stark and sometimes unsettling, and the whole story is so engaging you can’t put the book down until the end (and then you just can’t wait for the next book!). Although each story is an erotic romance, you always get a sort of life lesson, or food for thought which might apply to you. In this book, it is about letting go of the past, and learning to trust others. Or not. This book can also just be a very enjoyable and entertaining break from reality. I just can’t recommend the Interstellar Brides series enough, or any of Grace Goodwin’s stories actually.

But the scrappy little human would not hesitate to fight by his side to take down the bad guys. She is not what he would have expected in a female.
This author has been one of my favorites for eons! I could always count on her for a fantastic book. But like with many of the sci-fi authors lately, I see a direction I totally dislike. I positively do not like discipline, punishment, or spanking themes, feeling they are completely inappropriate as relates to adults. For me at least, it adds absolutely nothing of value to the story, turns my stomach, and disappoints me in my reading enjoyment. I am not a prude, but this for me is OTT and ruins an excellent story. Please, stop adding kinky nonsense that is just plain nasty. I lost all respect for both characters with the dominant/submissive tug-of-war. The whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. When you want someone to just love you, you don’t need a punishing “Master” to tell you how you will obey or else the punishment will begin! That’s not love!
