Claiming His Virgin (Interstellar Brides®: The Virgins Book 4)

Elite Hunter Zee is scarred from his time in the Hive war leaving him too much of a monster to seduce a beautiful, innocent virgin. Even if his Mark calls to hers, connecting them body and soul, he knows that after just one look at him and she will never surrender the three sacred virginities. Never accept him as a mate.

Blindfolded and seduced, Helen has never seen the Hunter whose voice makes her tremble. She knows something isn’t right, but she can’t say no to the mysterious and demanding Hunter whose kiss makes her burn, and whose touch makes her beg in the darkness of night.

Zee has everything he thinks he needs, until another takes advantage of his new mate’s innocence… and tries to claim Zee’s Interstellar Bride for his own.

I hadn’t always been this way. Damaged. No. One battle and I was ruined. Injured by an ion blast and pinned behind enemy lines. I’d escaped the Hive, but I’d been on the run for days and the wounds to my body had healed before I could reach a ReGen pod. There was nothing the doctors could do. I was scarred for life. Ruthless slices and mottled skin marred my face, my neck. To a female, I was hideous. The virgin brides who’d walked by were proof of that.

And yet I’d been blessed by the gods to find my Marked Mate. Other Hunters were envious of me— for that alone. My mark had guided me to her and the dreams we shared proved the bond. The way she submitted and came for me as well. But she would not want me if she saw me, saw the disfigurement. She would be horrified. Afraid. Scared of me. The one word I feared she’d utter, butterfly, would come from her lush lips and it wouldn’t be from pushing her too far sexually. It would be from a quick glance alone.

Grace Goodwin. Claiming His Virgin: Interstellar Brides®: The Virgins – Book 1.5 (Kindle Locations 347-354).

As always, Ms. Goodwin gives us another great couple! I just wish there had been more of the backstory in this book. I actually had to go through previous Virgin books to read what came before this. Not exactly what I expected to do.

The Alien’s Mate (Interstellar Brides®: The Virgins Book 0)

I’ve come to Earth to hunt down a killer, not find a mate.
But then I see her and all I can think is…MINE.
Just one dangerous problem—
My enemy knows she’s here…and he wants her for himself.

Cassie Anderson has been an orphan since the age of four. Left on her own, she grew up a hard-working, pragmatic woman of the Montana Territory, her steady employment at the Selby boarding house the only life she knows. When strange, sensual dreams drive her from her bed at night, her body heavy with desire and the scar on her palm burning, Cassie isn’t sure what to think. When the handsome stranger tempting her each night with stolen kisses and irresistible caresses suddenly appears in the flesh, she believes she’s truly lost her mind.

Maddox of Everis was born a Hunter. Second son to a powerful ruling family, he volunteers for the dangerous mission to a far away, primitive planet called Earth. His mission? To track down an evil foe responsible for his twin sister’s death. He’s come ready for the hunt, prepared to kill, if necessary, but he is not prepared for the mating mark on his hand to burn with sexual fire. Shocked but desperate to find his mate, Maddox will do whatever it takes to protect her from his enemy. He expects to find a mate eager to welcome him into her bed and her heart. But Cassie is an Earth woman, an orphan who has no idea who or what she is… not a simple cowgirl, but a descendant of ancient warriors who once colonized Earth.

Cassie is a powerful shock to his system, a woman he will do anything to possess. But when he tells her the truth, that he’s an alien bounty hunter and she’s his marked mate, she refuses to believe him. That is, until the dangerous madman he’s traveled across the galaxy to hunt finds her as well. Suddenly it’s not just Maddox’s skillful kiss forcing Cassie to rethink everything she thought she knew, but an evil alien bent on possessing her for himself. She’ll have to trust Maddox with both her life and her heart if they’re going to survive.

In the early years of my education, I’d listened about as well as the rest of my class as we were told the history of the Coalition planets, and about our home world, Everis. But now those lessons comforted me, for I knew that eons ago, people from Everis had scattered across the galaxies, colonizing new worlds. Some must have found their way here, to Earth. My mate’s presence here was indisputable proof of that.

But something must have happened to my ancestors, for there was no technology here, no knowledge of any life forms beyond their small, blue world. The people of Earth had no space travel. Hell, there was no air travel within the planet’s atmosphere. They still used simple beasts of burden for their transportation. Life was simple, primitive and yet the marked were here. Descendants.

Mates.

The Sevens would have to be notified immediately. Earth would need to be included in our next Reaping ceremony. For now, I would hunt the woman who haunted my dreams. Hunt her. Find her. Claim her.

What I Thought

I originally received this book as an ARC that was authored by both Grace and Vanessa Vale, and I loved it! Today, it’s available under Grace’s name alone. While I don’t know why the change, it is still a fabulous book. It explains how all the virgins we see in the rest of the series came to be part Everis. Enjoy!

Cyborg Seduction (Interstellar Brides: The Colony #3)

“Enquiring minds,” I offered. “Since the death of Captain Brooks, there are conspiracy theorists burning up the internet with all kinds of crazy stories.” Swinging my hands through the air to indicate the entire base, or even planet, I continued, “They think this is some kind of prison. That the Coalition is taking our soldiers and locking them up here without due process. That they are being tortured and denied their freedom, little better than slaves. And there are a lot of people who believe it.”

She rolled her eyes. “Jeez. No wonder they’ve had trouble recruiting from Earth the last few months.” Rachel muttered.

Lindsey Walters is a blogger who takes the craziest assignment of her life—sneak aboard a freighter bound for the terrifying alien prison planet known as The Colony and find out the truth about what’s happening to Earth’s brave soldiers.

A Hunter from Everis banished to the Colony, Kiel’s focus is to search for hidden enemies on his new home planet, not love. But when his mark awakens and he shares dreams with an unknown woman, everything changes. When he finds her offered as the prize in the Colony’s brutal fighting pits, he must fight for her with every ounce of strength he possesses, or risk losing her to another.

Fantastic job bringing a single mother with a son to the Colony. The way the couple met just couldn’t have been better. I’d love to see the two mothers getting courted as well!

Hunted (Interstellar Bride Program #17)

Trapped. Tortured. Only she can save him from the Hive.

“Run. You know I like the chase. I will catch you and then…”

The male’s deep voice was a rough whisper, but I heard it across the vast space between us like he was right beside me. He didn’t need to finish his sentence. I knew what he would do when he caught me. It made my skin prickle with awareness, my pussy clench with need.

I was fast.

He was faster.

I was cunning.

He was ruthless.

I was a Hunter.

I was also the hunted. I was his prey. His desire. His mate.

And when he found me, he’d take me. Command me. Fill me. Fuck me and make me his. Completely.

I wasn’t running from him because I didn’t want him. I was running because I did.

Grace Goodwin. Hunted : Interstellar Brides® Program- Book 17 (Kindle Locations 49-56).

Vice Admiral Niobe has resisted the temptation of the Interstellar Brides Program for years, certain there is no male in the universe willing to sacrifice his vision of a perfect life to be with her. Instead, she arrives within a secret Hive integration center to find him resisting a merciless enemy.

A warrior in her own right, Niobe’s too stubborn to leave him behind. And even if they escape the Hive, their personal scars run deep. Battle and bloodshed are easy. But healing a wounded warrior’s heart? That may prove impossible.

What Others Thought:

I really enjoyed reading this book! It can totally be read as a standalone, but people who follow the series will find familiar characters in this book. (Although the main hero is from Everis it doesn’t featur the “Everis 3V “)

Once more the author has provided a unique sexy, fun, romantic and action packed book. The characters have dept, the plot is interesting and it’s really hard to put this book down once you star reading it.

I love all The Interstellar Bride books. Grace Goodwin delivers a world that seems so real, nothing left to imagine. Like the worlds of Harry Potter or The Hobbit, the author describes every detail. Letting you feel like you are walking next to the characters. The love story of Quinn and Naiobe start on a Hive infested base , onto a battleship, Prillion Prime and the cadet training grounds. The story is really too good to even hint at. Two people from very different worlds with very different lives thrust together through the bride testing program.. Will she bend to him? Too not being in control? Will he be able to give a little? To compromise?
One of the best scenes was in the canteen when Commander Karter threatened to shoot Quinn (just stun him) unless he started talking about his feelings! LOL. How the earth females have changed these war hardened warriors. With every review I write for this series, I remain with the same thought…READ THIS..I read 1 or 2 randomly and then sucked it up and bought them all in 1 day and started reading in order!

What I Thought:

This was such a wonderful couple to read about! I love the fact that this story revolved more around the heroine than the hero. The glimpses we got of previous couples are wonderful. I’m looking forward to reading more!

His Virgin Bride (Interstellar Brides: The Virgins #2)

This was what I’d never found in a man on Earth. The control, the power. The ability to know exactly what I needed. It was no wonder because there was no question we were Marked Mates. He knew me. “Come. Now.”

His gaze locked with mine and it was like he’d detonated a fuse. My body responded, an orgasm roaring through me as my cries filled his room, echoing off the walls, taunting me with my helplessness. My need.

For him.

I lost control and came back to myself as he held me. He wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me close. Safe. No words were said. None were needed. We were at an impasse and the pleasure he gave me was all he was willing to give. As I drifted in the haze, I knew one thing for certain.

Bryn was mine. He wasn’t leaving me to go hunt some stupid criminal on another world. He wasn’t leaving me at all.

Goodwin, Grace. His Virgin Bride (Interstellar Brides: The Virgins Book 2) . Kindle Edition.

After a life on the streets, Katie chooses the Interstellar Brides Program for a chance at a new life, a new identity. But when she arrives on Everis, her Marked Mate refuses to claim her. As an Elite Hunter, Bryn has to travel to Hyperion, a known world of gangs and vicious evil to bring an assassin to justice, and leave her behind.

She might be innocent in body, but Katie knows her honorable mate is walking into a foreign world, a world she knows all too well. If she must seduce him, she will. If she must steal away on his ship and follow him to another world, she will. And if she must seduce the sexy-as-sin leader of the criminal legions they meet to save her mate? Well then, her innocence is a weapon, and she’s not afraid to use it.

Katie and Bryn are such a hoot! Katie’s familiarity with the world of MC’s is not at all what Bryn expected in a virgin bride. But what really gets you is the way she uses that knowledge! This is a fabulous entry into this spin-off series!

His Virgin Mate (Interstellar Brides: The Virgins #1)

One look, one touch, and there is no denying the heat…

“All Everians are born with a mark on their palm.”

She didn’t say more than that, just eyed me. “In order to be matched to Everis, you must have a mark somewhere. Do you have an unusual birthmark anywhere on your body? A large birthmark that runs in your family?”

Holy shit. “Yes.” Instinctively, I lifted my arms and wrapped them over my breast to hide the mark there. “Why?”

Her dark gaze followed the movement of my arms, but she smiled. “Long ago, Everian explorers colonized many worlds. Some of their ancestors made it all the way here, to Earth.”

Twenty-one and single, Alexis Lopez hopes her lackluster response to men is a problem she’s eager to solve by volunteering for the Interstellar Brides Program. One look at the large, dominant alien who claims she belongs to him sets her body on fire. When he tells her, in explicit detail, how he’ll claim her in every way, she is eager to give her mate everything, body and soul.

Von of Everis is a ruthless and high ranking Hunter who’s spent years fighting in the Hive wars. But his bed, and his life, are empty until Alexis arrives. One look at his innocent little bride and he knows she belongs to him.

Simple, right? Nope. The match is challenged by one of the most feared warriors on the planet and stolen kisses and mind-numbing pleasure won’t save Von from a deadly duel. But Von is a Hunter, a warrior, a protector, and someone is trying to take what belongs to him. Only him. He will do whatever it takes to protect, save and claim his virgin mate.

I love this second spin off series! The idea that aliens visited our planet years ago and the DNA still shows up in people is just great! I still want to read more about Dani! Please tell us she will have her own mate soon.
