Trapped. Tortured. Only she can save him from the Hive.
Vice Admiral Niobe has resisted the temptation of the Interstellar Brides Program for years, certain there is no male in the universe willing to sacrifice his vision of a perfect life to be with her. Shocked to be matched to her father’s home world of Everis, she transports, expecting to find an eager mate waiting for her. Instead, she arrives within a secret Hive integration center to find him resisting a merciless enemy.
Elite Hunter Quinn might have been captured by the Hive, but he’ll sacrifice anything to save the mate he never expected… never imagined would appear like an angel in the middle of hell. A warrior in her own right, Niobe’s too stubborn to leave him behind. And even if they escape the Hive, their personal scars run deep. Battle and bloodshed are easy. But healing a wounded warrior’s heart? That may prove impossible.
Mo 5.0 out of 5 stars Hunted Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2019 Verified Purchase I love all The Interstellar Bride books. Grace Goodwin delivers a world that seems so real, nothing left to imagine. Like the worlds of Harry Potter or The Hobbit, the author describes every detail. Letting you feel like you are walking next to the characters. The love story of Quinn and Naiobe start on a Hive infested base , onto a battleship, Prillion Prime and the cadet training grounds. The story is really too good to even hint at. Two people from very different worlds with very different lives thrust together through the bride testing program.. Will she bend to him? Too not being in control? Will he be able to give a little? To compromise? One of the best scenes was in the canteen when Commander Karter threatened to shoot Quinn (just stun him) unless he started talking about his feelings! LOL. How the earth females have changed these war hardened warriors. With every review I write for this series, I remain with the same thought...READ THIS..I read 1 or 2 randomly and then sucked it up and bought them all in 1 day and started reading in order!
Debi Waters 5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2019 Verified Purchase As always you keep my attention where it should be right in the story and the characters. Even through it was short --and that is my only complaint-- the story was excellent, well developed and Very attention keeping! AND- you do not disappoint with the characters' personalities and character within The book . You keep the Hunters' characters where they should be for what you are writing and where you are going with this book. Thank you for writing a very excellent book, and I cannot wait for your next one .
Jan 5.0 out of 5 stars Hunting his mate Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2019 Verified Purchase Vice Admiral Niobe wasn’t planning on finding a mate but was tested and BAM, her match is Elite Hunter Quinn. Quinn was been captured by the Hives leader Nexus. He didn’t ever think he would find a mate. When Niobe shows up, she is instantly in Hive central and rescuing Quinn. But things aren’t as easy with their mating.
I was glad about the rescue but boy did these two have a great deal to work through. Being a Hunter makes things really tough. And Niobe’s position is high up there. THAT was really tough for Quinn to understand and find his place with her. With the Hunter mentality of chasing, these two were having to find that middle ground. There were parts that you just wanted to smack the back of Quinn’s head. Then you end up chuckling over the conversation with all the other warriors and commanders. These two were so hot for each other. I look forward to reading about Commander Zeus and Atlan Zan.
Terry 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book and Series Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2020 Verified Purchase What would you give up for your mate? Vice Admiral Niobe, thanks to her friends, she is in the bride testing chair having the most amazing experience. In her 30's and at her rank there probably wouldn't be a mate for her. To her surprise she has a mate. Right away she is tranported to his location. Elite Hunter Quinn is a captive of the hive. He has been tortured, his crew has been killed, and no escape in sight. Was did come into view was the most amazing woman he ever saw. Not exactly the perfect meeting, but it led to good things for the coalition, but it is not ending up that way for Quinn. His mate is high ranking and all business. Able to go places and do things he can not. That was not going to work, his plan was genius, hopfully he would not end up in jail. Love this book, and the series is amazing.
She’s been matched, but who will she choose as her mate?
One woman. Two warriors. Two worlds. How will she choose?
Miranda Doyle has spent months in the arms of a mysterious Trion doctor. His hands are skilled at more than just healing, but their casual “friends with benefits” arrangement isn’t enough for her. She wants it all, and the Interstellar Brides Program guarantees her not just a mate, but a perfect match.
Doctor Valck Brax is in love with Miranda, a human female who surrenders to his touch so beautifully. Finally ready to claim her forever, he resigns and returns to her with mating adornments in hand. But he’s too late. Miranda is gone, half a universe away and in the arms of a fierce Prillon warrior.
Captain Trist Treval of Battlegroup Zakar is a cold and cunning fighter. Infamous for his unforgiving nature and calculating ways, war has been his life. Now, with three little words, “you’ve been matched,” everything changes. He’ll destroy anything and everyone who tries to take his beautiful new mate from him, including the foolish doctor from Trion who arrives on the battleship claiming she belongs to him.
La Blue 3.0 out of 5 stars I didn’t enjoy this book and probably won’t read it again. Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2019 Verified Purchase I liked Miranda at first but by chapter 11, not so much. It was all “I want, I want, I want”. I get that you have needs and you should find yourself as you grow. But there are plenty of men who would have shown her that, even if they can be less than stellar at it all the time. Why she married a man that would make her feel like she had cooties after sex I don’t understand.
Now, I liked Brax. She was with him sporadically for six months. I don’t honestly think she gave him enough time to find his feet in their FWB before she took off to the IBP. The only way her choices made sense was because of his words and the amount of time he was gone for. It kind of read like she only spent about a day or two with him per month. That’s like a total of 12 days altogether. She never clarified her desire for a more serious relationship and I put that error squarely on her shoulders. Brax was just realizing how much she meant to him and then bam(!) she was gone. The serious nature of his job was a super distraction and can be excuse or reason enough for him needing time to get “there” with her.
Then the last thing I didn’t care for was the confrontation between the three of them. I was all into this story up until this point and had been eager for this showdown to finally get the three of them together. But Miranda thought very poorly of Brax in her head. And even called him a fool while he was groveling to her, again this was in her head. I felt she was demeaning towards him and that is not love. When you love someone you don’t see them as less than. Even if you fall for someone else at the same time. The heart is an amazing thing. It can expand to include many and can be super forgiving and I felt she lacked in that understanding.
I liked Tryst. He was a prillon who demanded excellence from a second. As for him giving up hope on a bride and never replacing his former second, I found inappropriately reflected his character, not just as a prillon but as a second in command of a battleship. In previous books, it has been shown that brides arrive at any stage in a males life, young or old once they have earned the right to be tested. So that was just poor planning or a remission of his duty as a prillon potential mate. But then, had there been a second there wouldn’t have been a point to this book.
Brax I liked, and yes he was a clueless guy that F#€ked up and lost his FWB/girl. But a lot could have been avoided had some conversations had happened and a little less sex. As I stated above a conversation about Miranda wanting a serious relationship, a conversation about Brax’s military record, and a conversation about whether any of them wanted babies.
This book was written well, even if I didn’t like how it played out and didn’t like the female lead. My favorite books are the two books with secret babies, one of which introduced the Miranda character. And of course nearly all of the colony books. But I didn’t like this story and I won’t read it again. Hope you can enjoy it more than I did.
Kindle Customer 3.0 out of 5 stars Matched & Mated Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2019 Verified Purchase This is an established series, the 16th, that includes alpha quality alien warriors who are DNA (and whatever else) matched with an Earth female with pretty much 100% compatibility potential.
In this story Miranda, a divorcee, is living off planet Earth with her best friend Natalie though she wants her own family but has to have a mate to start that process. So far all she's only enjoyed a 'friends with benefits' relationship with a male who knows what she needs and is able to provide it, but, can't or won't progress into more.
Turns out the male, Doctor Brax, is a secret agent for the I.C.. Being a doctor/physician, he's able to infiltrate and complete his missions with high success rates. In his mind he can't commit to Miranda as his job is dangerous and there's always the chance he won't return.
Fast forward into Miranda getting fed up and signing up with the Interstellar Bride program. Of course she's matched on the spot and transported to her potential/probable mate. A Prillon. To remind you, Prillion's mate as a pair with one female, and, surprise, surprise, he doesn't have a second.
I just can't see a purpose for this book in the series. Yes, it features a sexy time story of repeated BDSM adult intimacy scenes, and gives a reason to feature a second chance romance sort of thing, but otherwise has no value.
A sexy times story for fans of the series and author.
Lauren VINE VOICE 5.0 out of 5 stars Another fun read from Grace Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2019 Verified Purchase I love all of GG’s books. Each book is different and unique but all revolves around the Interstellar Brides program. This book was well written and the characters were fun to read from their POV. I didn’t find any of them to be annoying or frustrating. I loved how Brax traveled across the galaxy to take his mate back even though he knew it would not go well in his favor. 😍
While there is some BDSM elements in this book, it felt pretty tame and mild compared to others in my opinion. The title of “Master”, clamps, and waiting for commands during sex seemed to be the extent of the BDSM in this book. So if you want to branch out into the wonderful world of BDSM, this would be a good starting point to ease you into that sub genre. Great book with a HEA!

Don’t Let Your Guard Down Just Yet!!!
Case in Point:
Yes, folks in many states the age limits for getting a COVID-19 Vaccination is tumbling. But, please don’t let your guard down yet, there’s more to the story that you may not be aware of.
My oldest daughter lives in PA with her husband and the bright 2 1/2 year old daughter they adopted a year ago. They have faithfully taken every precaution recommended. She works from home most days, while he works on construction wearing appropriate gear. Riley wears a mask at her daycare center. Until recently, they have avoided gatherings with people they didn’t know.
Easter weekend, they attended a small family gathering. Sandra didn’t say, but it was undoubtedly outdoors. You would think that everyone would be safe. The older adults were getting their vaccinations as soon as possible, so they were covered.
Two days later one young man who was there tested positive. A week later my daughter started feeling poorly. She skipped church on Sunday because she didn’t feel good. Thinking she needed something for a sinus infection, she called her doctor. The doctor sent her to get a Covid test to rule that out. She stopped by CVS for a 3 day test. During this timeframe, she found herself not being able to taste things.
The three days went by, and she checked in with the pharmacy. They had no record of her having a test done! So she went to the local Urgent Care clinic for a Rapid Covid test. In no time at all, she found herself speaking to their doctor with a positive result!
The next day, her husband went for a test, while they took the baby in later in the evening when it would be quieter. At this point, neither adult has had a vaccination. The county where they live isn’t giving them to people in their 40’s yet. The surrounding counties have just now dropped the age requirement down to that level but are understandably swamped with calls. No appointments are available.
Now she, at least, will have to wait until she recovers from the virus to get her shots. People, remember that just because the state government has lowered the age limit to the next bracket, doesn’t mean every county falls in line. They want to, I’m sure, but they have to take supplies into consideration. It may take a few weeks or more, for your local area to start giving vaccinations to your age group. In the meantime, keep following all the precautions!
Commander Karter is a Prillon Warrior. His first duty is to protect his people, to defend the Coalition worlds from a fate too terrible to comprehend. Battle is his life. His heart. He fights. He has never once been selfish enough to believe he deserved an Interstellar Bride. Until he’s matched at the worst possible time.
Astronomer Erica Roberts has always dreamed of seeing the stars. Volunteering as an Interstellar Bride is a win-win, not only will she be able to see the galaxy, but she’s more than ready to take on the two alien warriors she’s been promised. She’s all in. But when she transports directly into the aftermath of a battle, she quickly learns this won’t be an easy match. Her two commanders are torn between battling the Hive and battling their need for her.
If a new Hive weapon can destroy a Coalition battlegroup in the space of a single heartbeat, what will it do to Commander Karter’s match? And how is he and his second supposed to keep their mate safe if they can’t even save themselves?
5.0 out of 5 stars Loved Karter and Ronan
Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2019
After seeing Commander Karter in several books and watching him interact with Dara (Chloe, Seth, and Dorian's daughter), we have begged Grace for him to get a mate and she answered us with this great story.
(To understand my review, I just want to put it out there, I read for story and could care less about the sexy times)
This story drops us right into the middle of the Hive war, as mentioned in the previous books, the Battlegroup Karter is actively holding back the Hive in sector 437. Karter was tested years and years ago and has been too busy to have any thoughts of a bride. Ronan is also a Commander and is just as intense as Karter due to the heavy weight of responsibility demanded by their positions. Erica has always loved the stars and jumped at her chance to be among them, especially after her testing as part of a Prillon sandwich (her words, not mine).
This story is told from all three POV and we get to see just how tortured Karter is and how much weight is on his very broad shoulders. I really loved Karter and Ronan and even though Erica is just a feisty as the other Interstellar Brides, I guess I just wasn't as impressed with her as I was with the other brides - she does love both of them and fights for a true mating but that's about it. BUT, Karter and Ronan make up for any deficiencies I felt Erica had. The new development in the war is a major game changer and the Coalition is going to have their hands full dealing with it.
I love this series and while I have received advanced copies of these books (yes, I joined Grace's review team to get my hands on these books as soon as possible), I have purchased every single one. Purchasing these books and writing reviews so that others have a chance to discover this talented author's work is my way of supporting her and my habit 🙂

Series: Interstellar Brides Program
Author: Grace Goodwin
Designation: Book 15 of Series, Can Be Read As Standalone, No Cliffhanger, *Novella Length #sciencefiction #romance #spaceopera #action #adventure #triad #MFM
My Rating: Five Sexy Sci-Fi Stars****
*All of the books in the Interstellar Brides Program feature one woman finding love with one (or more) sexy warriors, usually alien but sometimes human. Each can be read as a standalone, but there is an underlying interconnected conflict with crossover characters, which is why this reviewer recommends reading the books of the series sequentially. If you're a fan of erotic sci-fi romance, it's one decision you'll never regret and will certainly enrich your reading experience. There is no page or word count given but this reviewer estimates this book to be a longer novella with approximately 40,000 words or 120 pages.
I adore science fiction, completely smitten with hot, alpha aliens, and totally addicted to romance, so when I can get the perfect trifecta of all three, I'm in reader heaven! And Grace Goodwin delivers every single time! I found Goodwin's work a few years ago and have been hooked ever since. She's one of only five Sci-Fi Romance authors on my automatic buy list. When Goodwin has a new release, I never even bother to read the blurb or reviews; I just one-click and dive in! I own all 15 books in her original Interstellar Brides Program Series, all 9 of Interstellar Brides: The Ascension Saga, all 6 of Interstellar Brides: The Colony, plus all 5 of the Interstellar Brides: The Virgins Series and, like all of her followers, anxiously await each new release. Yeah, I think it's safe to say I'm a fan, and I've never regretted a single purchase! But I digress, so let's talk about this book. Fans have been clamoring for Commander Karter's story and one thing I can say about Goodwin, she listens to her readers. This was probably one of the most highly anticipated books of the series and Goodwin delivered in spades. There were so many things I enjoyed about The Commanders' Mate. It's fast-paced, easy to follow, and well written, as always, with snappy dialogue, an intriguing storyarc, and a large cast of engaging characters. But before I continue, I'd like to say - WOOHOO! WE FINALLY FIND OUT COMMANDER KARTER'S FULL NAME! It's Makaed Karter, aka Kaed! Hey, what can I say? I've been smitten with the enigmatic Prillon warrior battleship commander since he was first introduced at the beginning of the series and like my fellow fans, I've begged shamelessly for his story. I knew it would take a very special woman to lasso this space cowboy! But Erica Roberts from Earth was so much more than just special, she was intelligent, feisty, courageous, and determined, with a capital D. She was also extremely tenacious, like a dog with a bone, and refused to allow anything to stop her from getting her man, or I should say men since Prillon warriors always mate in pairs. And she was an astrologer! How cool is that?!? Pretty darn cool, I'd say, especially since her background and knowledge in Astrology not only helped save the day but also was instrumental in saving every single person on Battleship Karter! As I said, Prillon warriors mate in pairs, two males for each female, a primary and a secondary, but I had no idea who Karter would choose as his second. I knew he'd have to be exceptional and Prillon Warrior and Coalition Intelligence Core Commander Ronan Wothar was definitely one hunk of hot alpha love! WARNING, WARNING, WILL ROBINSON! Sexy times ahead! lol... Ronan had been Karter's life-long best friend and chosen second, that is until 5 years ago when he was reported killed in action. Thankfully, Ronan wasn't dead; he had been working with the Coalition's super-secret spy organization dubbed the Intelligence Core. If you've read Fighting for Their Mate, you may recall it featured human female warrior Commander Chloe Phan, who at one time was also an agent for the Intelligence Core. These guys don't play around. They're a nasty bunch of spies. But Ronan was tired of his isolated existence with the I.C. and truly grateful for the chance at having a mate. But poor Kaed... when it rains, it pours for this battle-hardened commander. In one fell swoop, he simultaneously discovers his long-thought-to-be-dead friend is actually alive, AND he finally has a mate, and not just any mate but a 99% compatibility match! Oh my! Kaed had given up on ever being matched by the Interstellar Brides Program and resigned himself to being alone. Actually, he preferred it that way. His life was dangerous and full of responsibility. He was dedicated to his fleet and it was his job to ensure the safety of the thousands of warriors and families under his command. He had no time for a relationship or a mate. But the heart wants what the heart wants, despite trying to convince himself otherwise. Kaed was determined to send Erica away and never allow her to wear his mating collar. Yeah, good luck with that, Kaed. Remember when I said Erica was feisty and determined? Well, she had other ideas and to heck with the merciless Hive enemies. Erica was hellbent on having her happy ending, with both Kaed and Ronan. And when Erica makes up her mind, there's no changing it. It was a battle of wills, but we all know women are actually the stronger sex, right? When a woman sets her sights on something, nothing will stand in her way. Kaed and Ronan had no idea just what a fierce human female was capable of doing, especially in the name of love! Ronan capitulated fairly quickly, but Kaed was so much slower to acquiesce. I wanted to smack him upside his handsome head - several times! But it was so much fun watching the three of them dance around each other, all the while trying to save the ship, save the day, and outmaneuver the Hive. Sigh... So romantic!
So, did I like this book? Yes, very much! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adults. If you enjoy fast-paced, well-written science fiction brimming with action, adventure, danger, drama, engaging storyarcs, nail-biting conflicts, endearing characters, sexy heroes, sassy heroines, steamy passion, erotic sex scenes, and heartwarming romance, then this entire series is screaming your name. Will I read this author again? Abso-freakin-lutely! Just as soon as she releases her next book! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my seat, gasping for breath with a death grip on my ereader as the pages flew as quickly as the time! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! Well done, Grace Goodwin! Well done, indeed. And FYI, we, your fans, are still waiting for Warden Egara's story and not so patiently, I might add! lol...
5.0 out of 5 stars Full of emotion
Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2019
This book is full of emotion, an intense battle, plenty of steam, a strong willed woman who won't settle for anything less than she deserves and the connection that the Prillon mates all have with each other. This book will make you smile and laugh, put you on edge, perhaps shed a tear or two and leave you feeling good. I went through the entire gamut of emotions and LOVED the story. When you finish the book, you HAVE to go to Grace Goodwin's home page and read the bonus epilogue. It is priceless.
The only thing former Coalition warriors Calder, Zed and Axon have in common are long years spent battling the Hive, and their eagerness to claim their personal reward—their own Interstellar Bride.
When news arrives on Viken that each of the warriors has been matched, they gather at the transport station only to receive two unwelcome surprises.
First, they are all matched to the same woman, and not one of them is inclined to share. Second, their mate has refused them. She won’t leave Earth and transport to Viken. Won’t give any of them a chance to win her heart.
But these warriors will not back down from a challenge. When one states his intention to travel to Earth and retrieve his mate, the others will not allow him to make the journey alone. Their mate will be seduced. Claimed. One by one, they will tame her. Make her their own.
When danger struck, they worked as a team to take down the guilty party. They put their bride, Violet and her love for her sister, Mindy, ahead of their own needs.
If You've been reading Grace Goodwin's stories, You'll love this on every bit as the others. If your new to Grace Goodwin's Sci-Fi romances, you've a treat ahead of you with this book. Grace is a gifted writer. You won't feel like your missing a big chuck of world-building or backstory. Just dive in and ENJOY!
Bookworm555 5.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 stars of Viken awesomeness Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2018Verified Purchase I have purchased every book in the Interstellar Bride series - both the mainline and the offshoots (the Colony and the Virgins) and I have never been disappointed in any of the books. While my favorites in the series are any that involve Atlans and the Vikens are my least favoites, Grace Goodwin always writes a good story. Grace's characters and worlds are well developed and intriguing and her plots suck you into the story quickly and never lull.
I won't give away any spoilers, but the blurb only scratches the surface of what this story is really about. The fact that these three Vikens were not expecting to share a mate (unlike the previous Viken book) gave the author the chance to slowly bring these three Vikens together, despite their differing ways of claiming a mate and their desire to not share her. Violet's reason for refusing transport to Viken is a what really drives the story and as it is such a fantastic twist to the Interstellar Bride series - I won't say any more about it.
As I skim over the sexy parts (because I prefer story to titillation), I would say that there are enough and that they do not over power the story. The conclusion gives us a perfect solution to Violet's problem.
If you have not read any of the Interstellar Brides books, I would not start with this one. I would suggest reading the other three Viken books before this one, as many little threads from other books are woven into this story and may leave you a little perplexed at times (even though the author did an awesome job of briefly explaining everything).
SLF 5.0 out of 5 stars What would you do to have a family of your own? Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2018Verified Purchase This was another great Interstellar Brides book. In this one, Violet is mated to three Viken warriors who thought they were individually going to find a mate. Violet agrees to the match and before she is shipped off to meet them on their planet, she discovers she has not been matched to the same planet as her twin sister. That has her calling off the match. The guys go after her, traveling to Florida to fetch her. She has 30 days to decide if she wants to be mated to any of the men. There is a bit of drama, steam and danger in the book as well as a discovery of what constitutes a family.. It explores what one would do to save their family or make their family happy.
Terry 5.0 out of 5 stars Love Interstellar Brides Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2018Verified Purchase Just got pulled into this one. Loved the human Female.....Such attitude and not taking crap from anyone. That includes her three alien mates, Calder,Axon, and Zed. They sure were not planning on shring a mate when it came through that they had a human bride waiting for them. But they had to come together when Violet decided at the last minute to back out. The plan was to go to where her sister was, not a different planet and not with three mates. This book was awesome and fun and sexy and just plain great to read. Has some alien action and lots of sexy alien sex with three larger then life males that know what they are doing.
No rules. No laws. No mercy. She belongs to them now.
An Earth member of the medical recovery team on Transport Station Zenith, Harper meets two mysterious strangers from an unknown world. With intense eyes and even more intense desires, it’s easy for the two sexy-as-sin aliens to prove how good it can be with them.
Styx, a leader from Rogue 5, knows Harper is destined to belong to him and his most trusted enforcer, Blade. But when Styx is betrayed by one of his own kind, she’s caught in the deadly crossfire. Her mates must tread carefully, for even if they win the battle on the lawless outer moon, they might lose the most important battle of all, the one for Harper’s heart.
Uhm, yes please, more Hyperion guys!
This was easily my fave in the series, including it's spin-offs.
The plot is a fairly standard "who's after my mate" typical of this author, but the change of location/culture/personalities made it feel fresh, not just a Prillon duo knock-off. And it's awesome.
Characterwise, finally, finally, *finally* we get a heroine who isn't a pretty pretty princess locked away for her good. Thank you lord. I know that some of the other ladies didn't start as such (lookin at you, Sarah) or didnt *completely* end up that way (Kristen) but I was so.damn.sick of stupid heroines running away-ish for some stupid reason (even if most of them aren't entirely written as the dumb damsel in distress). Harper knows what she is (a medic, not a fighter) and the one time she starts shooting, it's to protect a the wounded patients, where her choice is 'stand by and wring your hands or grab the gun'. She doesn't go off to solve the mystery herself, she doesn't hide away/insist she go with anyone into battle. Seriously, I cried tears of joy at having a normal person. She doesn't come full of raging insecurities or having been entirely alone all her life or signing up for a bride program and the shocked at the thought of having sex. She's not even a bride - she's a Coalition medic who's attracted to this dude, has someone try to kill her, and said dude says "I'm familiar with these guys, you can come with me cuz I know what to look for, or stay here where they don't, your choice." Like I said, normal adult woman who makes a logical choice knowing what it means. Thank you lord.
Styx and Blade are the author's default alpha males, realizing that she's not a pretty pretty princess, that such a person couldn't deal with their world/lifestyle, while also recognizing their need to protect her because she *doesn't* know their world. They're upfront with their sexual preferences while also making sure it's ok with her ("This is what I'm goingto do - if you have an objection, now is the time to say so") while still maintaining dominance. Speaking of which...
I'm so happy Harper wasn't all "this kink feels so good but I'm bad for liking it and spend half the book berating myself". Not that there was seriously any kink involoved, especially compared to the other duo/trio books. They playfully smack her on the butt once or twice, threaten to turn her over their knee one time, do the position that every 2+ does, but mostly it's verbal commands (no restraints, toys, or anything). In fact, I wouldn't even, in this day and age, call this "kinky". It's entirely personality - which isn't to say it's not hot! The initial hallway scene (heck, both of them)? Uhm, yes please, more?
All in all, this series was kind of getting stale for me from lack of variety. Introducing new aliens, new locations and new types (outlaw pirates instead of good guys, yay!) revved it back up. Hey author, let's do something REALLY crazy and add an alien female to the mix, whadaya say? I nominate Silver and a human smuggler dude. C'mon, there have be some humans who have gotten their hands on a spaceship by now.
Like I Always Say… Double the Pleasure Double the Fun!
Holy hot Hyperion alien beasts… the heart palpitations haven’t stopped since reading “Her Rogue Mates” the latest installment in the “Interstellar Brides Rogues Series”! I read this episode in one sitting and never moved… OK, I lied… I squirmed a little… OK, maybe I squirmed a lot but this is one totally hot book! Professionally written, the narrative is incredibly fast paced and flowed seamlessly from the first page to the very last. The characterizations are totally engaging including two for the price of one, Rogue 5 alien beasts and a strong, intelligent coalition medic (lucky girl!). Trust me, Styx and Blaze dole out all of the action Harper can handle (yeah, that kind of action!) on every horizontal as well as vertical surface available! As with prior installments, the world building is fantastic incorporating plenty of action (no, not that kind) intrigue, revenge, betrayal and all of the raw, filthy alien sex you could ask for… did I already mention that?! “Her Rogue Mates” is a heat seeking ménage missile directly targeting the reader’s heart with plenty of sweet romance and everlasting love. All of the Interstellar Bride Books (or spinoffs) including “Her Rogue Mates” are standalone novels and reading of any previous work is not required for total enjoyment.
So… If you’re looking to double your pleasure and double your fun, just “one-click” “Her Rogue Mates” right now… you know you want to! Remember sharing is caring!

An amazing addition to the Alien bride series. I would not call this a stand alone because reading this book without the previous Interstellar bride books would not do the book justice. Although part of the series, we are not talking about being recruited as brides. In this book you have an earth woman that works for the coalition as part of the Alien version of the redcross on the battle fields. Harper has seen death and dying and is now drowning in her alcohol when she meets a Styx and Blade. Two members of Rogue 5, not part of the coalition of planets. And now these two gorgeous aliens are saying she belongs to them and she is in danger. But what if she goes with them? Are they good guys or bad guys? Good book, and seeing the battle from a different perspective was a change. A great HEA
Freakin' Hell! I knew Styx and Blade were going to be awesome as soon as they were introduced in "His Virgin Bride" and the author did not disappoint. Even though this book can be read as a standalone, I would suggest reading "His Virgin Bride" first as it is the introduction to the Rogue 5 Legions and Styx and Blade play a large part of that story.
From the very beginning, this book sucked me in and did not release me until I finished it. While it is in the Interstellar Bride Universe, Harper is not a matched Bride but a discovered mate.
Styx and Blade are a fantastic mashup of good guy/bad guy and are absolutely perfect. They are violent (when it comes to protecting their own), caring, protective, dominant, and let's not forget downright dirty. Harper has such a capacity for compassion that it is almost detrimental at times but outstandingly awesome at other times.
The plot has a little of everything - a heist, an assassination attempt, battles, celebrations, raging hot sex(though I tend to skip over these), spies, A NEW ATLAN THAT NEEDS A MATE (if you can't tell - I am particularly fond of the Atlans), and so much more.
Don't wait! Grab a copy, enjoy and then let the author know that we need Warlord Wulf's story!
Once again I received a copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed this book but I have purchased EVERY SINGLE book that the author has written for this universe and I have loved them all them all. (and as soon as Amazon stops holding the Kindle version hostage, this review will have a "Verified Purchase" stamp on it) FINALLY- 2 days after it's release(and it was available at all other sites), Amazon put it up sale. I may have to start purchasing my books elsewhere
Once a commander with the Intelligence Core for the Coalition Fleet, a mission gone wrong forced Chloe to return to Earth injured and dishonored. But she’s seen too much and is restless in civilian life. This drives her to do whatever it takes to return to space, to where she belongs, so she volunteers as an Interstellar Bride. She’s shocked to discover her mate is human, but he’s like no one else she’s ever met…and he’s taken a second, a huge Prillon warrior equally determined to seduce her body and win her heart.
ReCon Captain Seth Mills lost both of his brothers to the Hive and vows to continue fighting. His bride is an unwelcome shock and he agrees to the Prillon custom of taking a second to protect the innocent woman destined to be his. No matter how determined he is to resist her allure, one touch, one kiss, and he knows he can never let her go.
Although she surrenders to their dominant touch, Chloe is no innocent. She’s a commander with secrets she can’t share. And when the entire Battlegroup is caught in a deadly Hive trap, she’s the only one who can save them all, no matter the cost. But Chloe’s mates won’t let her go into battle alone. No matter the risk, they’re willing to sacrifice everything…and fight for their mate.
GOD, I LOVE this series and the ...
spinoff series “The Colony” (which is my favorite, but not enough stories in that line yet). I love not just the romance but the UNIVERSE that GG has created with this series! It’s more than just a world build for this very clever sci-fi series but a more elaborate universe that encompasses sci-fi, romance, adventure, discovery and intense danger.
GG has created something so filling it’s up there with Star Trek, Star Wars or Dr Who. All this while being an adult erotica and a gripping read! I found this series when I was searching for sci-fi romance and boy I have NOT been disappointed. Although I get bored with all the sex scenes (in all the books there are ALOT of them and very graphic!) I think it’s definitely more a sci-fi story. The investment into the creation of this universe is extensive and really should not be over looked.
GG hurry and write more! I like to pile them up (a few books) and then binge read them all at once! I can’t get enough of the Atlans, Prillons and Warden Egara! I like all the other species too but those are my favorites. I’m also interested in the possibility of rescuing more assimilated hive drones. I love there stories in “The Colony”. Maybe one day learning more about the Hive and defeating them! ☺️
Wow, what a fabulous adventure. Chloe was a former special ops type of warrior who had almost gotten killed because of a co-worker. He had placed the blame for the failed mission so she had been returned to Earth, working as a 911 operator and never being allowed to return to work. She signs up for the Interstellar Bride program thinking she will be sent to some other planet but is, instead, sent to a battle ship to meet her mates. The Commander of the ship finds out about her top secret background and she is recruited to do the same type of job she had previously done. She is such a strong warrior and to have a female holding such power was fabulous. The fact she out ranks her mates is frosting on the cake. There is steamy sex between mates, dangerous battles and much more happening in this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I've read some of the Interstellar Bride books and they were great but this one was out of this world!
Can't wait till the next book
YEAH! I love these stories. And the fact that we have a human mate, male in the mix makes it so much more fun. I'm glad to read that Seth finally found happiness. He and his best friend, Dorian a Prillian, work so great together. Toss in Chloe with her skill and intell. I love when the women have a stronger role. Even though we know they all have secrets do to their missions and jobs it is interesting to find out more and more about the Hive. The Hive is more of a threat then ever before. But with what Chloe knows and our two guys loving and protecting her, we will crack this.
I cant wait for what is to come next. Perhaps Commander Karter with find someone or even Warlord Anghar or even our Warden with the Interstellar Bride. They all need to find love. Perhaps all them together.
Love This Book-Plenty of Action
I am obsessed with Grace Goodwin's books, and they get better and better. I skipped over the 2nd chapter which detailed Chloe's dream during her bride processing time, because the dreams the brides have in the processing center are about sex, and I've already read enough of those. Other than that each story is unique, and I love the story line in this one. Chloe is intelligent and has high ranking in the coalition. She has a key role in helping to save thousands and is a true heroin. Her mates are a human and a Prillon, and although they have a few surprises in getting to know her, they are wonderfully supportive to her with a desire to protect her as well.
Isabella Martinez was always good at rebelling, against her parents, her school, her boyfriends. She had needs no one could meet, desires so dark no one could tame her. When her wild side gets her in trouble with the law, she doesn’t think twice when given a choice between prison or transport to a new world as an Interstellar Bride. Alone on Earth, the decision was easy. But when she arrives on Viken, she learns she’s been matched to not one fierce, alien brute, but three—and their desires, their needs, their demands are far darker and more demanding than her own. As enemies plot to destroy Viken’s place in the Coalition Fleet, Bella will have to learn to trust, or lose everything. Her mates will feed the hunger inside her no others ever could. But their secrets will either break her heart…or set her free forever.
E. Homar 4.0 out of 5 stars Spicy Read Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2017Verified Purchase This is not my normal reading fare, but I still thought I'd give an honest review.
Characters - These are flat, one dimensional characters. Expect no growth because you're not going to get any, but that's not why you're reading this.
Plot - There was one. Somewhere. Again, that's not why you're reading this.
Steamy Scenes - Here we go. This is why you're reading the book. The novel opens with steamy scenes, and the steamy bits probably take up at least 50% of the story, maybe more. It does include multiple lovers simultaneously, and while I've never read anything like it, as far as I can tell, the author handled it well.
Themes - Despite the fact that this book is really just for steamy scenes, there were some pretty interesting themes running through it. Issues of trust came up time and again, but more than just trust, it was also about consent. This played throughout the book. I was pleasantly surprised by this. There was never even a hint of rape culture in the book, and while rushed, it did let the heroine explore her sexuality without guilt. Rather, her mates encouraged her to explore it.
NOTES for the morally concerned: ZERO cuss words (apart from naughty bedroom ones) ; NO abuse or disrespect of females or their mates; NO substance use/abuse; NO infidelity; NO shallow sex; NO casual killing - killing is not graphic and is necessary to advance the story.
NOTES: sex scenes include the usual variety of oral, anal, spanking, and conventional, plus use of toys, and humor. Yep, humor.
The setting on Viken is not idyllic, and an internal traitor sets the plot moving when one of the mates is framed for murder...so there's a good story connecting the hot sex scenes.
If a woman satisfying THREE studly male aliens she's mated/matched to isn't too scary - enjoy the ride.
Margaret 5.0 out of 5 stars Great addition to a brillant and interesting series. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 27, 2020Verified Purchase I love this author and this is a great addition to her brillant and interesting series. I enjoyed reading this book. It's very well written with plenty of different elements to hold the readers interest. There are lots of hot spicy sexy scenes between the four main characters. All the characters are very well written, very rounded. I loved Bella, she is sweet, highly intelligent and so lonely. All of her vikens need her. I very highly recommend this wonderful story and will read more from this series.
Christina Zepa 5.0 out of 5 stars Damn! Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 13, 2017Verified Purchase So.. i have never really had any interest in alien romance, I would avoid them like plague but let me tell you... when I read the first 2 pages OMG! I’ve read hundreds of books this far and I can’t say there’s many that captivated me so quick. It’s really well written and you fall so easily in the story you can practically feel it. Well done Grace! I definitely recommend this book and the next,.....and the next😏
A human fighter on a secret mission. An Atlan whose inner beast has found its match. Who will win this fight?
Nyko of Atlan never hesitates to charge into battle against Hive scum. Seeing a soldier in trouble, he follows, ripping his enemies to shreds to save the human fighter. When that warrior turns out to be a beautiful and curvy female, the beast within him, and the hunger he’s been fighting, suddenly breaks free and growls one simple demand…MINE.
Megan Simmons is a soldier sent into space to protect Earth as a member of the Coalition Fleet. After eighteen months of ruthless fighting on an alien planet controlled by the enemy, Megan receives a secret assignment. The plan was simple, separate from her unit and sneak behind enemy lines. Her mission was on track until one hot but meddlesome Atlan Warlord thinks she needs saving and worse, declares he wants to keep her for himself.
Bookworm555 5.0 out of 5 stars 💚💚💚💚💚 I Love Atlans 💚💚💚💚💚 Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2017Verified Purchase Another fantastic installment in the Interstellar Bride Series. This is the third Atlan Warrior and I have to admit that Atlans are my favorites. This book has more story than $ex and I actually, like it better this way.
Megan is from a military family and joined the Coalition to hopefully, finally make her mom proud of her but didn't expect it would happen. Two days away from the end of her 2 year enlistment and she has decided that she won't be returning to Earth and will instead become an Interstellar Bride and have a family of her own to love. Nyko is everything that makes the Atlans my favorites - he's big, protective, caring, and will die unless he finds his mate (OK - he won't die if he doesn't find a mate - he will be executed). Nyko has been having more and more trouble controlling his beast and will soon have to find a mate. Fate throws these two together during a conflict with the Hive and that's when things get interesting.
The story leads us into the conflict with the Hive on a level that we have only seen in Mated to the Beast (Sarah and Dax's story). It gives us a glimpse into the magnitude of the fight that the Coalition is up against in fighting the Hive. In my personal opinion, it made for a much more interesting and absorbing story.
I was given an advanced copy by the author but will be purchasing it as soon as it goes live. Do yourself a favor, if you are into hot aliens - grab this series. I cannot recommend it enough.
pdb 4.0 out of 5 stars Loved Beast! Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2017Verified Purchase Really enjoyed the book. Megan was a bit of a whiner. Grated on my nerves actually. She sounded younger than the age mentioned. Really, she was almost 30, a billion miles away and still whining about her conversations with her mother. Why are you calling her? Her mother did not like her. There really wasn't a reason given for that. Only that her father was dead and her mother started to drink shortly there after. I don't understand why the hostility was directed towards Megan. She had low self esteem, but very unwarranted, given her current job. Megan was a superstar and it seems that her fellow warriors respected and admired her. Nyko was hot, but I loved his Beast. Beast knew it immediately. Nyko had to catch up. Once Beast was able to taste, no one was taking Megan from him. He was so cute. Mine, mine, mine! Even after he went through the testing for a bride, he would not be dissuaded. I actually loved the world created by Grace Goodwin. This is the first book I've read by this author. The action was amazing. Nexus 9 was creepy. Great, well developed characters. I do recommend this book. Enjoyed it immensely.
Heather 4.0 out of 5 stars Mine Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2020Verified Purchase Megan and Nyko. Human IC coalition fighter (basically like special black ops in space) Megan is almost done with her 2 years fighting Hive and special missions. With the chip in her head she has to finish her last mission, but before she heads out she gets tested for a mate by the intersteller brides program. Now all she has to is survive her last mission and live happy ever after. Nyko is an Atlan Warlord who is close to going into Mating Fever. That means he has to find his one mate that will calm his beast and save his life. Not to mention hit sex with dominat male who hulks out....everywhere. yes ping the male envy ego. So battle, blood guts heads and bodies ripped apart to satisfy anyone with blood lust. But fear not.. sexy cave scene. Wink wink. Then some drama you dont want to miss. Overall I did enjoy this story. So much better when you actually have a story instead of 2 characters banging each other repeatedly. I enjoy a little finesse. 🙂
Serena B 5.0 out of 5 stars Another winner 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2020Verified Purchase I enjoyed this book , and highly recommend Grace Goodwin 's books for a fast paced - exciting read . Always !! In this book , the beast is Nyko, an Atlan Warrior, who is in his Mating fever . This fever affects all Atlans, and if they dont find a mate , then their Beast takes over , and they must be out down. Megan is an Earth girl, who comes from a Military family. She chose to go Interstellar, instead of staying on Earth. Only a two year term to retirement. And when we meet her, she has only two more days to go ! Oh, yeah, she knows the Atlan Nyko, ran a few ops with him .... They DON'T like each other . At all !!! Isn't that a wonderful beginning ???
Natalie Montgomery wants a new life. While she may be rich, her life is empty. Her parents were never around, too rich and important to be bothered with a child. And when they present her with a emotionless fiancé, she’s done. As a volunteer for the Interstellar Bride Program, she is thrilled to arrive on the hot, desert planet of Trion, and in the arms of a seductive warrior who makes her body burn.
Roark of Trion is not eager for a mate. Danger and the constant threat of war dog his steps. But one look at his new bride, and his mind is changed. Natalie is everything he ever wanted in a woman…so soft, so passionate, so submissive to his every need. An attack on their outpost leaves Roark fighting for his life. For her protection, Natalie is transported back to Earth. Roark thinks she’s dead. But she’s very much alive and so is his newborn son. Natalie’s anger and regret grows with each passing day her mate does not keep his promise to come for her. By the time he discovers his mistake, it may be too late to win back her heart.
BJaye Conway 5.0 out of 5 stars Fourteen Days and a Four Month Old Baby! Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2017Verified Purchase Once again a great story. This time we are back on Trion, the desert planet. Roark is a leader of his people and is visiting a out of the way rural outpost when his bride Natalie is transported to his location. Their feelings for each other are pretty much instantaneous. They are separated when the outpost is attacked, Roark is taken captive and Natalie is sent back to earth to keep her safe. When Roark escapes and is able to get back to an outpost, he is told Natalie is dead. Likewise Natalie is told Roark is dead, much angst ensues. For some reason time moves differently between the planets, Roark manages to transport to Earth after 14 days to search for Natalie. Little does he suspect that 13 months have past on Earth and he is astounded to find Natalie and a 4 month old baby, his son. While trying to return to Trion to start over, they run into more trouble, over and over again. They only want to settle down as a family, but someone is trying to stop that from happening. The storyline is fast paced, almost too fast in places, but a HEA finally happens. Another good read from this series, I've really enjoyed all the books in this series, each with a matched couple and an HEA, but completely unique circumstances. My only issue is that I wish the stories were a bit longer and I would have liked to find out how the couples settled down in mated bliss, and sometimes with babies. I'm hoping that Ms. Goodwin will continue the series by linking stories as she did in a few of the books, then maybe quench our curiosity.
Heather 5.0 out of 5 stars My fav Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2020Verified Purchase So far my favorite in the whole intersteller brides series. Mating, Alien, sex and action with story. Not just insta love and sex sex sex. Natalie isn't happy with her life. Her absentee parents and cheating fiance. No more she signs up for the intersteller bride program and finds her mate with a 99.9 accuracy I believe. She ready to go claim her mate. Roark hasn't found a mate on Trion. None of the female interest him so he gets tested to find His mate. A female that wants him for him. Not his position, wealth and status. So they are a good fit. Great chemistry. However after an explosive first night they are separated and then drama and danger unfold. Each has a different experience and a baby is uncovered changing everything.
Terry 5.0 out of 5 stars Love this Book and Series Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2019Verified Purchase I really love the Interstellar Bride books. This one has Natalie, a human, and a poor little rich girl where money does not by happiness. As a matter of face it is lonely, even feeling like a side thought of her parents, just not important. It is time to move on from all of this and her gross ex fiance. Enter thr bride program and her new mate, Roark. Roark new his one true mate was out there. and now she was here. One night of pssion and falling in love was all it took. Except for the interruption of a battle that left Roark taken hostage and Natalie sent back to earth for her saftey. I loved their story and how the writing follows both characternthrough the different time changes and their thoughts one what next? Loved the HEA
Mariah O 5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional Rollercoaster Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2018Verified Purchase I don’t even know what to say, the emotions ran so high and deep my heart ached with both love and despair. Both feelings were felt deeply, sharply. She finds her mate, her home, her love... And loses him in a battle. Both think the other is dead and both struggle under the weight of the thought. As the book stretched out my fear that this might not end well was an acrid taste in my tongue but author Goodwin deals in happily ever after and I did get mine, tearfully so. She's such an amazing writer! You definitely will not be disappointed with this book.
