Executed: Vol. 3 (The Fated Vigilante Series)

The Series Finale.

Now that Eric “AKA Cobra” and Jordan “AKA J”, have convinced the by-the-book detective, Alexi Taylor to join them in taking down the Killing Game, they can move forward. With Richard Tate, one of the key players of the Killing Game, tied up in Eric’s bathroom, they have to figure out what he knows. On top of that, they know they still need more help. Enter Black Knight, a vigilante with a natural special ability that makes him a valuable new addition to the team. Unfortunately, Black Knight and Alexi are against terminating the members of the Killing Game. Instead, they’d rather the members have their day in court. That goes against Cobra’s own dark moral code because he’d rather see them face the same horrors they put their victims through. With so many strong and conflicting personalities and opinions, they have to figure out how to work together for the greater good.

If that’s not enough to worry about, Eric is concerned that the darkness that lives inside of him will be too much for the straight-laced cop to handle. Alexi is the first man he’s ever fallen in love with, but will that be enough?

Will they finally be able to take down the Killing Game or will they just fall deeper into a world too powerful to defeat?

Contains episodes: Gamble, Targets, and Justice.

“If we were going to be a team, we needed to be able to all see whatever the other was working with. It was a gamble, but one well worth the taking.”

What a rollercoaster Eric, Alexi, and Jordan took us on! I love a good anti-hero and Eric’s so gray, he blends into the darkest of shadows. I adore how he stands by his morals and know how to bend for the ones he loves. It’s been so much fun watching him find justice on his own way, fall in love, and make some curious new friends along the way.

Not sure if I liked this or not. The story felt really drawn out, almost too much and then it was suddenly ended in just a few paragraphs. Not only that but then it ends on a cliffhanger and a series ending because the characters are moving to a new series...it was disappointing to say the least. I was really looking forward to seeing how the killing game was ended and the members taken care of and it was kind of a big letdown. I want to continue to the new series just because I'm interested in the Enhanced Human aspect of the story, and I hope we do get more from Eric, Alexi, and Jordan. I hope it's worth reading.

When I first picked up this series I was on the fence about liking it. I mean Bella can write his talent to bring his thought to ink is just wow. I was just in love with his vampires lol. But yeah he did THAT thing he does with each book. He puts interest, heat, mystery danger, and a lot of himself in his stories.

This last book... was definitely bittersweet as much as I had set myself not to like this series *smiles* I fell for it. The intro to the game, the intrigue, the characters. Your emotions can't help but bounce around. Eric did well sticking to his beliefs even at times if it could have been a different outcome.
The bad actors - dang... to think how deep and far-reaching Money can get you.
The good actors - our boys.. hot sexy dangerous and determined. This is the accumulation of... the hunt, the capture and end. So very well worth the read. If you haven't started the series do catch up. Don't miss out a fast paced. Sexy heated drama, dangerous choices.
