Surgery? Yep!

Have you ever had surgery? What for?

Surprisingly, I had my surgery at the tender age of 24. I had just had my second pregnancy confirmed when my OB/GYN started asking me about my mother and grandmother. You see, I was definitely blessed with abundance, if you know what I mean!

My family on both sides is of German descent and definitely large busted. For as long as I can remember, my mom had deep grooves on her shoulders. She also had back problems. My grandmother was much the same. The doctor was very concerned for my health.

By the time I graduated high school, I could have easily qualified to work at Hooters. Thankfully there was a stand at the nearby Farmers Market that specialized in lingerie for larger sizes where I could get what I needed.

When I finally had a doctor question me about my health, I was considerably larger. However, it wasn’t that I was fat, I was simply big busted! Trust me when I say that I was wearing a 36F! As the plastic surgeon I was sent to see told me, I was too big for my bones.

A few months after my daughter was born, the surgeon undertook the procedure to return me to a more appropriate size!
