These Men Play For Keeps.
Noah “Ace” Murphy, Sergeant at Arms, brother, and son. He’s a Man of Carnage, who is loyal to his club. One night, coming home from visiting his brother, Diego, in prison, he almost literally runs into a young man desperate for help. Kenshin Yamoto is everything Ace knows he should stay away from. But one look into those pleading, soft, brown eyes and he finds that he can’t turn Kenshin away. Now, they just have to hope the threat Kenshin is running from doesn’t destroy everything Ace holds dear, including Kenshin.
Diego “Dragon” Murphy, who’s doing a nickel upstate, is looking forward to the day he can give the prison his middle finger. But before he can do that, he gets a visit from his brother, Noah, and is given a mission to eliminate an imprisoned DEA snitch before he can testify against a powerful mob boss. With his plate full, he doesn’t expect to get a new cellmate. To his shock, Richard Harrison stokes a fiery desire within Dragon that he’s never felt before. Richard claims he’s straight, but Dragon wants to put that to the test…
Reader Advisory: This series should be read in order for your ultimate enjoyment, as each book builds upon the last for one epic adventure. Also, there is a prequel titled “Man of Carnage” that you won’t want to miss.
Now for the serious warning: Mature readers only as these bad boy party hard and play dirty. To be honest, I wouldn’t want to get on their bad sides. Graphic violence, strong adult situations (yeah, you know what I mean *wink*), colorful and intense language. HFN/HEA. Reader discretion is advised.

From the first chapter Nicholas Bella has dropped the reader into the world of motor cycle club. This is a world where the men make their own rules and live by their own code. We learn of the men who inhabit this world and the men and women who love them. This is a full cast of characters and this first glimpse definitely wets the appetite for more. This first book focuses on Ace and Dragon, two brothers who both find their mates in unique ways. They will both have to earn their mates love in different ways while still dealing with outside forces that are affecting the club. But one thing is sure, you don't disrespect a Lord of Chaos or their boys. Some people will learn that lesson the hard way.

Welcome to Nicholas Bella's world of badass motorcycle clubs. He has created such an awesome group filled with such badass diverse personalities. The family is such a well formed, no nonsense rounded family.
The storyline is so well written you wish you had more to read. His characters are robust and with so much strengths and wills you get totally invested in them all. I am so looking forward for the next installment. Now I need to re-read this great book.⚘⚘⚘

One of the fun things about this book is that there are two romance stories running at he same time, one in prison and one outside it. The two stories are woven together really well by Nicholas Bella. There are characters that have appeared in other series and you don’t have to have read them but it does help In understanding some of the story. I have read some of them but I have a terrible memory so I did feel like I was missing things at times. If I have one criticism it’s just that this whole story, which is told in different series, is getting a bit unwieldy to keep track of. But as I said I do have a bad memory. Often with series like this I will reread them when a new one comes out but I just didn’t have time right now. Overall it’s a terrific motorcycle book with lots of urban fantasy and romance included.
